Roy's Restaurant Reviews
Always great food. looking forward to the new place.
Great food. Beautiful views
Went Sunday. Was not busy. Took over 20 minutes to be addressed at our table just to get a drink. Food was mediocre at best. Definitely not fresh seafood. People had to complain to get it restocked. Our waitress was horrible. Will not be back definitely no where close to what it was.

Roy's Restaurant is a hidden gem with a stunning ocean view. The food is amazing, with tender gator bites and delicious coconut shrimp. The fried grouper remains a popular choice, and the restaurant has adapted well after Hurricane Helene, now operating from a beautiful "temporary" setup that offers great views. Recent visitors enjoyed appetizers like blue crab claws, which were beautifully plated and flavorful, along with fresh and tasty dishes such as blackened gulf shrimp and stuffed flounder. The Greek potato salad was a standout. The restaurant also offers a salad bar with yummy Italian dressing. While some reviews mention smaller portions and shrimp, overall, guests appreciate the good food, friendly staff, and fair prices. Despite the challenges from storms, Roy's continues to be a favorite spot for locals and visitors alike, providing a memorable dining experience with stunning ocean views. Customers have praised the food as absolutely wonderful, with some mentioning wait times of about 15 minutes after ordering, which they felt was worth it. The smash burger and grouper sandwich have also received positive comments. The staff, including a server named Jake, are noted for being kind and courteous. Visitors from other areas have expressed regret about not visiting before the hurricane damaged the restaurant, but they still enjoyed the food and the beautiful location. Some reviews mention that the shrimp sandwich was delicious but could have been better on a roll instead of a hamburger bun, as the shrimp kept falling out. The bar is open, though sometimes guests have waited for drinks after finishing their meals. Overall, Roy's remains a beloved spot for good food, friendly service, and stunning ocean views.
