It took 2 hours to deliver the coldest pizza on the island. Initially, we were told it would be 40 mins. We called again after 4o min mark to check, and they haven't even started working on the order. It took a total of 2 hours from order placed to delivery. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. We stayed on the island for 4 days, and our foos experience at other places was great. This place is just outlier.

Best service! Late night owner was very nice and even sent us a picture of the size pizza we were ordering! No other place will go to that extent! On a thanksgiving amazing service and owner is very respectable if you want good pizza and good service this is the place and bet affordable 🤍🤍

Horrendous service but the food is great. Took 3 hours to receive our pizza. Staff was very unapologetic and rude about the whole situation. Told us that they do not care about uber eats orders.

I've twice been there eager to suport a much needed pizza place. But a kitchen problem the first time and an hour wait with a couple in front of me the second..cmon. forced me to go to that soup kitchen roostica... but I'll be back. If I could actually get a pizza. Still optimistic!

Fantastic service, even at a late hour! Had a minor mistake in my pizza due to my own fault, the team was more than willing to fix it and went out of their way to follow up and confirm satisfaction. I can’t speak highly enough about their customer service experience. I’d absolutely order again.

Star needs to go to Pizza school, her heart is in it, but her execution is off point, no consistency in her pies, the first one we had was inedible, I let her know and she made us a pie for free a couple of days later, it wasn't any better, she said the wood burning oven wasn't working right?
If she just had a little more training this place could rock!

I had a blast at this place...it's more like a hidden gem to be honest. The owner Star is so personal with you as a patron. She has some extremely delicious menu items but will create a chef's special just for you. She was extremely happy to show us how the stone oven works and the different things she likes to create when give the freedom. We were able to BYOB and there were games to be played while we waited on the hand crafted pizza. You can bring a speaker to listen to your own music or you can ask Star to play something over her speaker. The pizza I asked for was a chef's special...and it was delicious with mushrooms, onions and fig and just yum!!!!! My friends got a hot and honey and a berry pizza...the combinations of sweet savory and spicy are ridiculously delicious! Come and taste for yourself...

Vegetarian options: You can have your pizza made you your liking Star was good at asking us questions.

Dietary restrictions: So Star made sure to ask if we had any allergies to anything before making a chef's special. I can appreciate this for the simple fact that I do have allergies and she made sure to cater to my needs.

Parking: It's not the easiest to find parking...but it's worth finding a place to park even if you need to walk a little bit.

Kid-friendliness: This place is great for family and friends...you have games you can play there and you can even bring your own games.

Wheelchair accessibility: I'm not in a wheelchair nor did I see anyone in one there but it is an outdoor vibe and wheelchairs seem to fit just about anywhere. It is more of a thought floor as it is again outdoors.

It was a beautiful chance discovery. We love it and have eaten pizza in several places, and without a doubt it was one of the best.
With different ingredients and in a balanced way so that we can taste all the flavors.
The roots atmosphere and the peaceful and happy atmosphere of the place make everything even more special.
Not to mention that she is friendly personified!

This outdoor pizzeria in Stock Island is great. The owner, Star, offers a friendly and family oriented atmosphere. I really like that she experiments and makes all kinds of personalized, custom pizza. She's devoted to making everyone's experience so friendly and warm. I can't wait to see this new business flourish!
