“Very welcoming as soon as I walked in the door. Super nice people and the food was out of this world. if you've never tried Haitian food before try some of barbecue and get some of their sides. black rice is my favorite. and the black color comes from a mushroom grown in Haitian mountains, they make a tea from it and they steep the rice in the black tea there's no actual pieces of mushrooms in the rice it just gives it a great flavor. they also have other styles of rice. for those who know what griot is... get it here it is delicious!!!“

“Trust me... don't fall asleep on this restaurant. This is by far the best tasting Jamaican food I've had in a long time!!! It's easy to judge the restaurant from the pictures and signage, but the chef Sony knows what he's doing. I asked him to just bring me food, and. Wow!!!“

“Went for lunch today. I had the legume, and my dining companion had the chicken. The staff was friendly, and we got a lot of food for the money. I asked for the pikliz at least three times, but I never got any. This was disappointing, because I really like pikliz. I suppose if I had ordered the griot, it just would have come as part of the meal. I made it clear I would have paid extra, but alas, no pikliz for me. I gave this four stars because the food we did get was really good. To be honest, we could have made two meals out of each serving. Next time I go, I'll definitely order the griot just so I can try the pikliz. You definitely will not leave here hungry, and the food quality was on point.“

““Alabon!” is Creole for “God! It’s good!” And whether or not you speak the language that food IS very good! My whole family enjoys the meals day in day out. I never ate any dish in that restaurant that was not delightful. The patties are definitely the best in town. A great eating experience by all accounts.“

“This is one of my favorite go to when I have a taste or don’t feel like cooking Jamaican cuisine. My favorite dish is the soup in oxtails dinner
And the wait time is not bad depending on how many people are there cause it’s a very popular restaurant“

“I live in Port St. Lucie and the Caribbean/Jamaican places don’t really bring what I’m looking for seeing as how I grew up down in Broward County. I always make an effort to stop here once a week after class in Stuart for lunch specials because although the portions could be a little bit bigger for 10 bucks the flavor kicks and when you walk in and sit down, you really feel like you’re a part of the family. They’re very friendly and it just reminds me of the places I’m used to down south.“
