“This place is DELICIOUS!!! Stumbled upon it when working up here and I'll definitely be back! The brown stewed chicken with rice and peas, plantains and veggie mix was very yummy!! I'd highly recommend giving them a try! They have very reasonably priced lunch specials, too!“
“RUN! Do not walk! I stopped for my first time on a whim last night right before they closed. ??♀️ Yes I'm that person. They were cleaning up but there were still people getting food so I asked if they were still serving. Beautiful woman at the register said "I still have some food left in the back" I was lucky enough to get a Large oxtail with double rice and peas and 2 patties.......? OH..MY..GAWWWD! First of all the amount of food she packed into my plate was out if pocket ?♥️! THE FLAVOR! THE TEXURE! The flippen peppers in the gravy was still FIRM! The meat melted in your mouth! The rice and peas ???????? I'm ?? rice is my LIFE! End of the night rice that is still fluffy? Like HOW? And the patties, the patties, the patties... THE LIGHT ON THE HEATER WAS OFF Y'ALL! They were done for the Night! Buttery, FLAKY crust! Filling ! I haven't had a patty so delicious since I moved to PBC. Charlie's bakery on Commercial and the TP was my joint....if you know you know. Anyway, this was a rant because they deserve it. 10 out of 10! Absolutely recommend ???♥️?“
“I order their food from Uber Eats My favorite dish is the Stew Peas although everything including Oxtail and Curry Goat is good. The seasoning is just right. Sometimes the Jamaican food in other restaurants can be overwhelming in flavor due to too much seasoning. This food is authentic and cooked with love. I keep coming back.“
“The food taste and presentation was absolutely spectacular. (Garnished with a beautiful flower). I had the oxtail with fresh vegetables and rice and peas. The oxtail literally fell of the bone. I had a genuine Jamaican cola champagne soft drink as my beverage. Water was served with as hint of lemon. I was there during lunch hour, the service was excellent. The ambience with the music relaxes you and the portraits on the wall represent individuals from Jamaica. The tables are dressed with white linens and drinking glasses with cloth wrapped silverware. And I can not forget Shanna my sever. She was excellent and has a beautiful smile that warms up the atmosphere even more. All in all I'll give it a five out of five stars definitely a place for a romantic dinner with your Island girl or wife.“
