Great service, grilled dolphin sandwiches were moist and flavorful, grilled vegetables were perfectly cooked, and prices were reasonable.

Food was good. Friends had burgers and hotdogs. Onion rings and fries were good. Had the blackened Shrimp which was great. Birch beer was a nice surprise. Glad they added coctails tonthe menu. Rice side was bland. Vibes outside are nice. Took 20min to get someone to acknowledge us. Had to get our own menus and flag someone down even tho they were not very busy

Heads up....NOT dog friendly even though it comes up as being so.
My wife and I are frequent visitors to the area and last time we were here we ate at The Dune Dog with our little chihuahua, Peanut.
So, tonight we were looking for a place to eat and had Peanut with us again and it’s way too hot to leave her in the car. So we checked ahead of time and were told they were still “pet friendly”.
We were disappointed when we pulled in and saw the No Pets sign. So I went in the back (outdoor seating) area and was told it would be fine if the dog was well behaved, not barking, etc. So, we went in with Peanut and took a seat at one of the old rustic wood picnic table. My wife was holding Peanut on her lap. The waitress came over took our drink order, then came back and said the dog has to be on the ground.
That doesn’t work for us, or Peanut, so we questioned it and said she would sit calmly on my wife’s lap. We have done this many times and no one usually even knows that she is there. But, she insisted and said the dog has to go on the ground. So, we got up to leave. I told the waitress that they need to change their website as it says they are pet friendly outside.
Another person (manager?) came over and said we are pet friendly but we don’t want dogs on the “furniture “! After I had a good laugh about the rustic beaten up picinic table being called furniture and reminding them that she was sitting on my wife’s lap and not the precious “furniture “, we left.
Needless to say we will not be back. Everything turned out great for us tho…we went about a 1/2 mile down the to the Sailors Return and not only were we and our doggie treated like welcome guests, they had a GREAT happy hour (food and drink specials) WITH very good live music!
No more tired hot dogs and unfriendly “waitresses” at Dune Dogs for us.
Excellent hotdogs!

Absolutely stellar food, fried pickles were perfection, the wings were crispy and meaty and the crab legs were plentiful! Would definitely go again when visiting my parents!

I was kind of excited to try it after driving past the jupiter location for years and never stopping me and the girlfriend tried the Stuart location for the first time. I got the Chicago foot long and she got a small Southwest dog. I should have read the chicago dog description as it wasn't a true chicago dog but just a hotdog with diced onions and tomatoes. It still tasted good, my girlfriends on the other hand didn't. The chili did not taste right, Wendy's chili is better. I took a bite of it because she couldn't eat it and it turned me off as well. That was at 12pm, it's now 10pm and both of our stomachs still hurt. Think something in the chili was bad.
I will say the rolls the use for the dogs was good but getting sick is definitely not worth it. And for a place built around hot dogs you'd think they could not be so lazy on the chicago dog.
Won't be going back again

We were on vacation and decided to try Dune Dog and it was an excellent choice! They had a person there doing balloons for our kids, a putting green to keep them occupied, and our server Dakota was amazing! He definitely went the extra mile. The food was incredible (we especially enjoyed the fresh Mahi). We will be telling our friends about this cool little place when we get back home!

This was our 1st visit. We sat outside. Pretty cool and cozy atmosphere. The server we had was super friendly and attentive. Thank you! Anywhere we go for dinner we have to have the new England clam chowder and it was delicious here, creamy and loaded with clams.
Very good, we will be back!
