“The food, atmosphere and location are the reason why this place is my new favorite coffee shop. Stuart coffee in downtown closed this summer and the replacement coffee place is too expensive and parking can be difficult. I Can ride my bike or walk to Carmela’s. I love that it’s spacious and family owned. And for goodness sake people, DO NOT bring your Starbucks coffee in to another coffee shop so you can enjoy the atmosphere and ambiance (all which cost money) because this is a small business (not a huge corporation). Live in the moment and try something new and you’ll be beyond pleasantly surprised. ☺️“

“We had them cater our 50th wedding anniversary party with 40 people. We had a sit-down dinner of asiago chicken and prime rib, with appetizers and desert. The plaiting was flawless. The food was perfect in every way and we had several compliments for both choices. The servers and the chef could not have been more friendly, professional and accommodating as the evening progressed. They were on time and well prepared right from the beginning. The team left the kitchen and all the rented plates/flatware in just perfect order. I would recommend Ellie's Deli for any event of any size, they were just amazing. Let me not forget to mention Taylor, whom helped up plan this event from beginning to end. Thank you all for making our party such a huge success!“

“Stopped in for lunch today. My fiancé and I just started our vegan journey and the server was VERY helpful with all our silly questions!! We tried a lot of different things. My favorite was the broccoli and bang bang sauce. HIGHLY recommend this place. Great place, very clean, good music. GREAT experience. We will definitely take the drive from Vero Beach to go again. Go to a medium small place like this on the weekend with a large group and you'll 'always' have to wait or go to McDonald's for 'fast food'. Service is, for me, very good to excellent. Now, I'm a liver and onions type of guy, well, they had the best liver and onions that I've ever had. Cooked just the way you want it, AND a huge portion! We went and it was early bird special time. We thought that the portions were going to be a little less then the regular menu....WRONG!!!! Decorated in St Patty’s day style (but I am not sure if that was for the actual holiday - which was days away - or year round) is high was great! It smelled like a tavern & food as soon as we entered. Actually liked that! Our server, Mel, was great and the food was fantastic. Between the four of us, we tried their ribs, strip steak, dolphin sandwich (Mahi Mahi) and shrimp. Every plate was delicious! Beat coleslaw too! HIGHLY recommend!“

“I have been going to shrimpers for many years. This was my second bad experience. Tonight we waited for our meal for over 1 hour. We told the waitress that we were going to leave because of this. The manager then came and stated that the meal would be ready in 90 seconds because it still needed to “bake”. We were done and fed up. We told him that we were leaving and to not charge us for the meal. He did not charge us for the meal but did not apologize or show us any quality customer service. I was very disappointed. It was our mother’s birthday and we were trying to celebrate this special day with her.“
