We happened upon this restaurant while driving towards Ocala. It serves breakfast and lunch. It wasn't crowded on a Thursday afternoon. We both had the hot dog special. It was good but the dog was supposed to be stuffed with cheese.....it wasn't. The staff were very nice and the prices are reasonable.
We recently arrived in Summerfield for an extended stay in our 5th wheel Rv and we discovered this local restaurant just 1 mile away and glad we did. It is a quaint local restaurant, small but with the down hone feeling. The decor is very casual with the walls covered in veteran pictures from every service and era. Gramma's Place in Summerfield is a breakfast place that's sure to please you. This cozy spot serves up omelets that are almost as warm and fuzzy as a grandma's hug. They'll whip up your eggs however you like them. As for sides, you've got a trifecta of options: hash browns, steak fries, or tater tots. I went for the works with a mushroom, sausage, and spinach omelet, and let me tell you, it was egg-cellent. And don't even get me started on the biscuits...
