Villa Pinar serves only the best quality and best tasting rice and bean dishes anywhere in Marion, Sumter or Lake counties. Ditto for their Cuban sandwiches and pizza you will not be disappointed and the price can’t be beat.
New to this area of the State and always looking for good Cuban food. I came across this cafeteria and dropped in to check it out 9am on a Sunday morning.My first impression when I walked in was authentic. There is Cuban themed artwork all over the place, most of it oil paintings. The dining room is large, and everything is clean and organized. The food and sandwich was delicious! The sandwich did take longer as they make it by order compared to the rice plates, but not a long wait, just mentioning it so keep in mind if you have a party that will eat rice and sandwiches. The price is comparable if anything we paid less and got more food than at other similar places we’ve been too. The sandwich personally was more than enough, I had to take the other half home!
