I have been here before and really enjoyed the smoked brisket, baked beans, macaroni and cheese. This time I decided to try something different. The Chicken Fried Steak. It was the perfect crispiness and hot when it arrived. It came with mashed potatoes and gravy. My husband had the smoked meat trio sandwiches. They were not warm when they came out but the server made it right and brought him a new plate.
I have been to BBQ places in at least a dozen states and the Pitmaster at Artman’s knows his craft!The ribs were coated with a fantastic dry rub and cooked to perfection and the OMG! Brisket was out-of-this world, juicy, tender and sliced thick so it didn’t dry out as i ate my ribs.I agree with The Hive that Artman’s is in the top 1% of Smokehouses, but in the US!In many states, people would wait in line for an hour for Q this good!

We will definitely be back here! The food was delicious and the meat was so tender and flavorful. Prices are great for the portions they provide. Sweet tea was not too sweet and delicious. The inside is a little small for the amount of people that come in but we were seated rather quickly and it wasn't too crowded once we sat down. The male waiter that served us was super busy and working so hard but he was very attentive and kind.
