My wife was in Advent for five days, she insisted I get some supper each night. I went to the Darrell’s on Pine Ave, James was cooking and did a fantastic job. Different waitress each night, all friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The meal and good service helped getting past some difficult times.

Haven’t been to Darrell’s in forever, but ended up at the Summerfield location for breakfast this past Sunday. Service was excellent, but can’t say that for the food. I ordered the corned beef hash, eggs, home fries, and a coffee. I paid over $17 all together for canned hash, frozen potatoes, two extremely small eggs over easy, and watered down coffee. My husband and daughter’s food was not much better. Walked out paying over $60 with tip for breakfast. I don’t mind paying for quality food, but this was all processed garbage.

So place is great. The biscuits and gravy is great. The service is always good. Coffee is always too hot.

Parking: Free parking within walking distance.

Prices were much higher on the receipt vs the menu. Eggs had runny whites, don't know too many folks that like that. 41 dollar breakfast for 2 to eat at a little diner. One was a "special" and the other meal was 2 eggs and ham, 41 bucks and change? Won't be back.

Man, 2 huge beautiful eggs over medium. Certainly Don't need to ask for extra bacon like I did. They give you plenty and the toast. Wow, the toast is like Texas toast or something, it's very thick. I could only eat 1 piece. I took a little bacon and the other piece of toast home for later. I will be going back. There very soon.

We stop at darrells most Sunday morning after church, Brie is very nice to talk to taking our order an remembering mine each time. Western omelet home fries white toast an side of bacon. Bre should be a manager ,she has people skills.

The staff is great. The issue is the cooks don't wear hair nets, beard nets, or gloves. They touch food with their hands after touching their bodies. My meal was complimentary, but we'll not be going back.

We really like Darrell's Diner in Wildwood, so we thought we'd try this location.
The server was great.
I had ham and eggs and fried potatoes. The potatoes were very good. I asked for my eggs with the whites done, I got the eggs, and the whites were mostly done but had a few runny areas.
The ham was burnt black on the outside in some spots like it was dropped on a hot surface.
I don't know why I had to eat with a cleaning spray bottle sitting next to me or why the trash bucket sat in the doorway in front of me? Not to appetizing eating while someone is scraping trash in the bucket.
It is what it is.
Judging from the reviews, many folks like this diner. Maybe I just came in on an off day?
I will definitely go back to the Wildwood location, I won't be going back to this location.

We stopped in for breakfast at this location because it's close to our home. We usually visit the location on 301. I have to say Briana was attentive, but the food was a disappointment, to say the least. I think the grill must have been dirty by the looks of my french toast. The sausage was good, and my eggs were cooked properly. The air conditioning was not working well as it was humid inside. Several areas needed swept, which was done before we left. Maybe the trash can near the kitchen door would better serve diners if moved out of site as well. We will continue to visit Darrell's Diner. Maybe this was an off day.
