The restaurant was quiet before the dinner rush whe we arrived just before five. The service was fast and very efficient because one of the servers were almost always present. We ordered the rings, my wife ordered the fried shrimp and I ordered the ahi tuna. All three choices were appetizers and both were adequate for a complete meal. The shrimp was batted and fried excellent any Tuna Tataki was prepared perfectly. The tuna was seared with a crust of sesame which tasted excellent....
What a pleasant surprise. After not going for over 5 years because of bad food and bad service. I was told by friends that Moma's was much improved. Went with a friend last night 9/11/25. Our server was prompt, pleasant, and helpful. We both had the triple tail (seldom seen on a restaurant menu) and is was one of the best dinners either of us had anywhere in the keys. So happy to have another option especially in September. We will be back soon.
We went here for just a few drinks. The atmosphere was great and the drinks were better. We had the key lime martini which was hands down the best “key lime” drink we had the entire trip.
