Our boat rental experience was excellent. Yeap, they rent boats. You wouldn’t know it from the outside or by calling them. I figured it’s the relaxed “Florida vibe”. We stopped here on the way back from our honeymoon looking for some dolphin to take home. Was surprised they were even open because it was Thanksgiving. Is kind of a hole in the wall but the gentleman was very helpful gave us a great price.

As authentic as it gets. Joe is a great, soft-spoken, tell it like it is, conch. There comes a point when these people like Joe, who live here every day, grow weary of big city "reviewers" that don't understand how hard the simplest tasks (like getting supplies, fighting the salt) can be in the Keys. If you go to an authentic spot, expect to get authentic people. Not Disney employees.
