Bella Cucina Italian Family Restaurant

First time visiting this little gem, the out side may look rough but the food was amazing. It was such a joy to have good Italian food again, it had that family recipe feel that is missing in most mainstream restaurants. Will definitely be back again, and again.

I have been about 3 times over the past year during afternoons and they bring you garlic bread in a bowl of oil. The bread is not supposed to be drenched in oil. The house dressing tastes nothing like any other Italian place I’ve been to. I got ranch instead. The waiter is never friendly and doesn’t seem to want to be there. Waitresses decent but don’t come back and check on you during the meal and stand off and watch the diners eat. It’s a really old building and restroom looks awful. The kitchen is open to the dining room and they only are open till 7.

Service is great/friendly...but you go to eat and the food is unfortunately just, not good. 3 sets of wrapped silverware were dirty... like they never went through the wash dirty with dried cheese and sauce, I dont know how anyone wrapping them could ignore that. Premade house salads were sitting on a tray on a shelf in the servers area, unrefrigerated dressing is a separated oil mess. The stacked eggplant is supposed to have ricotta but it's just a cream sauce. Chicken parm dinner was over cooked. Chicken parm sandwich, the hoagie was hard & the fries were unseasoned and undercooked. Additionally there is over a $3 charge for card payment. For $75 I expected way more. I would pass on this place completely. Women's restrooms also very run down. We were disappointed and I'm not sure why this has over 4 stars because when it comes to food, it's just not there in quality.

Such a hidden gem, the food is top notch as well as the service! Definitely check them out!

Ordered a chicken parm dinner. When I took a bite of the chicken it had a gristly, tough, coating all around the chicken. I called the restaurant to tell them and the owner told me. I'm sorry that happens. Sometimes. I can't help it. Sometimes the chicken comes like that. How gross. When I complained she told me. I'm sorry you'll have to call GrubHub. I don't have anything to do with that. That's not taking ownership for your restaurant. She offered me a free meal but after that nasty experience with the chicken, I will never order from there again.

I had the chi Ken scarpariello, which was wonderful. The lasagna was quite good, as well. I'd like to see some dry red wine options.

Want to thank Carol for her excellent service at correcting my door Dash meal. The menu was printed wrong by Google and had a veal dishes they don't make. When I received my order there was no veal,artichokes or capers. Just clams and pasta. Once she understood the menu was printed wrong she ask me to come by so she could correct it. Since this was nothing they make I opted for the veal marsala. It was excellent and also let me keep the claim dish. Once there I decided to get the cannoli since it was my Birthday and so I could tip her. She brought it out to me appoliqized and said it was on them. For a restaurant to go above and deyond to satisfy a customer is an A+ in my book. Thank you for the exemplary service and attitude Carol! ? Bravo
