It takes about 1 hour to serve a coffee and an empanada, what a bad attention and service.

A restaurant/diner with a cozy vibe. Can’t speak for the food because we only came here for a cafe con leche and a

The service is quick and the people are warm and welcoming. My husband tried a Cubano sandwich and fell in love with the bread (Cuban toast) and flavors. Compared to another local Cuban joint, this is the favorite for us. From the tamed tartness of the pickles to the savory flavor of the ham and crisp yet softness of the bread, this Cubano was fantastic. I enjoyed their breakfast, my favorite part was the pecan waffle! The kitchen prepared it just right using plenty of small diced bits of pecan and mixing it with larger chunks. Just the right texture plus it was nice and crisp. The prices were a little higher than I prefer but for the area, we spent less in this place than any other restaurant. The orange juice was phenomenal by the way, fresh squeezed and worth every penny. Lastly, and the main reason we had to hit this place up twice during our 3 day stay, the cafe Cubano was perfectly brewed. There was a nice balance of coffee, cream, and sugar, with no bitterness. I’m not even a coffee drinker but I definitely enjoyed this cup ‘o Joe! The only downside is parking, good luck during peak hours which are most the time.

It is the best Cuban food I have eaten in Miami, the roast suckling pig is spectacular, my husband ate a steak with unique moro and my daughter ate bread with steak and a strawberry smoothie ? delicious, excellent service I recommend all families come to this place.

This place has awesome food and phenomenal Mojitos. Their lechon Asado is phenomenal and their Cuban sandwich is the best I've ever had.

No one seemed to care that we were there. It took a long time to place an order, then we had to ask for refills and the check several times. We will not return.

We went this time for an early lunch and we didn't get fresh food. It must have been from the previous day. I've ordered there pan con lechon in the past and it was always so good. This time pork was dry and hard pieces not at all tender and tasty with MOJO. Just some shredded onions. I was very disappointed. I also ordered Vacca fritta to take home and I wasn't sure if it was shredded pork or beef. And not fried..

This is a frequent stop every visit to N Miami!! Hubby gets the toasted Cuban bread and cafe and I get "a meal". The lechon (roasted pork) is seasoned perfectly, very tender, and served with grilled onions. It's heavily packed between the softest, toasted, Cuban bread. The tostones were perfectly crispy as requested. I couldn't get enough of the mojo (garlic sauce)!!! I ate it with the sandwich and the tostones. I had plenty of everything left over for a late night snack!! Thank you El Tropical for being consistent over the years.
