Il Mulino New York in Sunny Isles Beach, it’s one of the area’s best-known upscale Italian restaurants, located inside the luxury Acqualina Resort .

It’s known for classic Italian cuisine, polished service, and ocean views.

Mixologists William and Alan prepare classic and bespoke cocktails such as “The Harmony of the Symphony” with The Macallan approach to culinary in The Harmony Collection as well as “The Green Fairy” with No3 gin and The Old Fashioned with Brugal 1888 rum

Met friends from Texas here for dinner... the Aqualina Resort has maintained its style and atmosphere. I still enjoy the ambiance of the small bar inside Il Mulino and the staff is always exceptional. The food was good but was not the defined elegance of a few years ago. The chicken parm, which is one of their classic dishes seemed as if it was not freshly prepared. The portion size was smaller than in the past - disappointing but edible, but a long way away from where it once was. Still and enjoyable evening, Victor, Adela were especially attentive... just hope the food improves in the coming weeks.

We have dined at this Resturant a few times and each time the food and service is fantastic. Last night was no exception. Luckily the weather was fantastic and we could sit outside and overlook the pool and beach. Highly recommend

The experience was phenomenal! Silvia, the hostess, welcomed us warmly and gracefully. Our sever, Alan was very friendly and gave us great recommendations of the menu and he was spot on with items, everything was delicious. We even had drinks that Renata prepared and she showed off her skills, the best Negroni and old-fashion I’ve tasted.

This was our third trip to Il Mulino. The service, as always, was impeccable. The staff is very attentive. They have very recently completed an interior renovation and it looked wonderful.

We went there for a birthday celebration on Easter and ordered the Sunday Supper. We have had this before as it is 4 course meal that showcases the various dishes of the chef. It has always been wonderful.

The staff brought over a special dessert for our son-in-law’s birthday that was very nice.

We did notice that the portions seemed smaller than we remembered. The veal dish was particularly small. The food was very tasty and well prepared but we remembered the portions on our previous visits being larger.

All in all a nice experience but perhaps the Easter holiday rush was the reason for the smaller portions.

Just remodeled recently. Food was great service was super slow. Ate here for dinner than lunch the following day. Service at lunch was faster but informed them ahead of time we we in a time crunch.

If I could give higher than 5 stars, I would. The food was spectacular with gratis amuse bouche dishes. The server Louis was incredibly professional and knowledgeable. What a fantastic place!
