When we made our order, we noticed that on their tablets it was stated at the top left that service charges were included, and of course, tips were at our discretion. To our surprise, when we received the receipt for the ordered dishes, in addition to the total amount, there was a line for a service fee, which amounted to about 20% of the total bill. I pointed out to the waiter that there was an error in the bill since the service charges, according to the menu, were already included in the cost of the goods. The waiter argued with me, insisting that the phrase "service charges included" in their understanding meant to add a certain sum or a conditional percentage to the total cost of the bill. In addition to this, of course, 7% federal tax was added to the cost of the bill and the suddenly appeared service charges above the bill, and we were told that tips were optional. I insisted that I would like to tip on the condition that I see a new bill without the phrase service charges, as warned in the menu before placing the order. The waiter said that was not possible, so I had to discuss this with the cashier, who tried to convince me of the same thing as the waiter and also confirmed that it was not possible. Then the manager came and finally issued a new receipt in which, as promised in the menu, there was only the sum of all the ordered dishes plus 7% tax. I was pleased that reality finally met expectations. Then I asked if the service charges are included, then how do they differ from tips? After all, both go to the staff, not the owner of the establishment. I got no answer, so I offered to add 10% for service although by that point I no longer understood for what. But I was informed that the service was included in my updated check, and there was no need for that. In the end, the bill was reduced by $26, and the staff, in accordance with the promise in the menu, I hope, received their service charges included in the price.

Honestly,This place is beyond overpriced and they won't mention that there's a automatic 20% service fee but then still expect a tip? You're pretty much expected to pay more than the food.

Waited almost hour, the food came cold, no flavor and very very overpriced. The waitress kept wiping her nose with the back of her hand while serving tables. Beyond disgusting! Don’t go here.

If I can give this place ZERO stars I would. I can't believe this place stand with food this disgusting. The sushi was bad and 3 people in our group got serious food poisoning.
Excellent food and environment Highly recommend. We were excited to find this great place whole on vacation

Solid choice for a casual lunch with outdoor seating option. My sister had nachos and I had malawah sabich. The food was excellent. Service was pretty good, but the prices were very high and they tack on a service fee, which is mandatory 18% tip. I thought this was a little weird considering we were a party of two. I like to decide for myself, how much to tip, and frankly I would have tipped more, I just don't like the unexpected and undisclosed service fee.
