**The Worst Tartare – Absolutely Disgusting!**

When I visited sushi zen & izakaya , I expected to enjoy a fresh and high-quality tartare, but instead, I was served something that looked more like fish scraps. Instead of neatly diced fillet, I received a mix of trimmings and unknown fish parts that should never be used for this dish. The taste was rancid, with an unpleasant smell, as if the fish had been sitting out for too long. The texture was mushy, likely due to the poor-quality ingredients.

It felt like the chef was trying to cut costs by using leftovers from the cutting board rather than proper fish fillets. Completely inedible! If I wanted something like this, I would have just gone to a fish market and asked for discarded scraps for free.

Extremely disappointed and would not recommend this place to anyone! If you value your health and taste buds, stay far away from this so-called "delicacy."

If you’re looking for amazing sushi, this place is a must-try! Sashimi Mori had the freshest fish, and the Lobster Bomb Roll was absolutely delicious.The service is friendly and fast, and the atmosphere is great for a casual meal or a special night out. Highly recommend!

I ate a chicken tom yum soup as my appetizer with a green boba tea drink. I ate the sashimi sampler appetizer with saba sashimi and uni sushi added which was superb. I enjoyed sipping on a dry sake recommended by my server yesterday. Her name was Fon I don’t know if I spelled correctly. She was very friendly and provided excellent service. I had bananas tempura for dessert. Everything was superb. I recommend eating here when in Sunny Isles. You won’t be disappointed.
