I discovered the this spot while browsing Google Maps, and decided to check it out. The location was a former Subway, but it’s now being converted into an Korean restaurant. The choices are always fresh, and the guy working the counter was super friendly and had some great recommendations. I decided to have the bulgogi beef bibim bap accompanied by brown rice, bean sprouts, mushrooms, and kale. The man was really knowledgeable and kept suggest ingredients to amplify my taste buds. The man did not miss with suggestions!I think this spot became a favorite of mine because not only is it super convinient to me but the prices are right and the staff will be there to make your day! Next time I'm there I'll be surr to try something new.

We lived in Seoul, S Korea for several years and are addicted to Korean food. Whenever we’re in a new town we search to see if there are any Korean restaurants. We were right on time last night so were happy to find Bap Bistro. Imagine our surprise when it turned out to be some of the best and authentic Korean food we’ve had in a while. The owner was soooo nice and since we ate an early dinner we actually WENT BACK right before he closed at 9pm and got another round of food. The beef bulgogi bowl and the crispy pork belly bao bun were our favorites. It’s also literally in the ILEA parking lot so it’s our new go-to whenever we cross the state to shop!!

Today my boyfriend and i decided to try this place out and the owner i never got his name is legit this nicest person ever, super warm and welcoming. Literally the best customer service i have ever had. I had the bulgoli beef rice bowl with basically all the vegetables and fish cakes; it was insane. Everything he recommended was sooo delicious. My boyfriend got the karage chicken rice bowl with the slaw. AMAZING. i never leave reviews but this was the best experience ever definitely going back again and again.

Been here twice and Mike makes the experience of his Korean food so good, once you start eating the plate you can't stop eating it!! ?

Food is good but the place is GRIMY. Like filthy. The tables and benches covered in food. The glass display case where you pick your vegetables looks like it's never it's never seen a wash, and there are eggs shells covering the cooking area. There was only one person working so he had to take care of the orders, cook, and charge at the register. The employee was trying to help customers behind us and he let the food cook too long so our eggs were burned and rubbery. They were also out of several ingredients and menu items. I don't blame the one employee, this place needs TLC from management.

Amazing!! I told him what I liked and he came up with this amazing poke bowl. Yum! Great quality fish and big portions.

Had a great fresh lunch at bap bistro ! I let the chef build my poke and bimibap bowls and they turned out delicious! I also had a boba tea that was tasty as well. I highly recommend

Bap Bistro always comes through for lunch! Get the bulgogi beef bowl. It's delicious, filling, and seriously cheap for what it is. The owner is always friendly and attentive too.

A really good place to eat, it's little but with good food, he made a good bowl and it was super good!

Fantastic Asian Fusion. Delicious Korean bowls and tasty superstuffed Bao. Everything made fresh to order. Many healthy options in addition to traditional spicy pork & bulgogi. Excellent gem in Sunrise.

First off, I'll be back for 2 reasons 1. Food was amazing and amazing quality (good timing for the quality as well) 2. owner/customer service made me feel like I was at home. Truly :) Both are good reasons to come back and the quality of this food is insane. We talked of our experience in Annandale VA Koreatown and the food is right up there in authenticity (he knows good food for sure!) Thank you Mike! Will be back with friends!!!!

So glad we stopped! Took two teens and the gentleman running the restaurant was so incredibly helpful and patient with us while we figured out ordering and what would best suit each of us. He lat the girls taste a vegetable they weren't familiar with. Everyone loved there meal and we walked away full (and happy)!
