Came here on a Friday after calling 3 times within 30 mins to get the lunch special they promoted. Figured they were busy so I drove a few minutes to place the order being relatively close to my house. The store sign said open, multiple signs in the outside said open. Some lights were on and the door was locked. Within 1 hr of calling and going there nothing. Not sure if they were open and they stepped away but for an hour? And atleast leave a sign in the door if that’s the case.I gave this place a 2nd and 3rd chance, two other days during lunch and the same situation as to the door being closed and the sign still shows they are open. The owner has responded and said there was an emergency but going 3 days now not in a row but within a week and it’s been the same result

The food is frozen and not home made. Food depot stuff not even authentic Latin food. Don’t waste your time.

Goggle update the menu. This is no longer a Latin restaurant it is a Haitian restaurant.A side from that the employees were extremely nice.

The food is sooo GOOD! I had the wings with a side order of their French fries and let me tell you those wings are the bomb! The sauce on the wings are delicious, I also ordered the grio and side order of fried plantains the grio is so tender and cooked to perfection! The fried plantains were seasoned beautifully. I see why it's called el boom ? now! Also the lady that helped was super sweet and helpful. Definitely recommend for anyone looking wanting to try Haitian cuisine!! ❤️ ??

What an Amazing family business. They just changed owners and it's now just "El BOOM!". James and Naderge were an absolute pleasure, very gracious and attentive. The goat and the wings were incredible, and the tostones are the best we've ever had. Super soft in the center and the crunchiness was to die for! Will definitely bring our family members to try this hidden gem!

This is now a new Haitian food restaurant and I ordered chicken wings and black rice (diri) and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food, some of the best rice and plantains I have had at a Haitian restaurant in quite a while. The wings were tossed in a spicy mango sauce which were delightful, I will be eating here again in the future, the gentleman that took my order was very polite and welcoming and was spot on with his suggestion for my meal, keep going guys and remember to contact me regarding the J*** proposal ??

Friendly service, good venezuelan food, good flavours, big portions, definitely recommended.

My wife called my steak and cheese "mediocre". I disagree, sandwiches from Subway are mediocre and have more flavor than the tasteless, limp, strip of steak in what I just consumed.

Very overpriced for what you get. Tasted below average.

Had the "full breakfast" entree this morning and it was terrible. The eggs were extremely bland and greasy. The toast and french fries were ridiculously oily. The bacon was the thinnest pieces of bacon I've ever had in my entire life. Everything just lacked flavor. It was the worse $10 I've ever spent on breakfast. I still tipped the 20% because the waitress was nice but I could only eat about a 3rd of what I was given and not because it was a lot. It was because of how disappointing the food was and that I couldn't bear to finish it.

We have eaten at "El Boom de Sunrise" several times, and the food has always been great. The food is tasty and authentic. If you are Venezuelan, this food will make you feel at home. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and attentive. Prices are fair for the quality and the size of the portions. This is surely a nice place to have a tasty, well-priced food!
