El Patio Colombian Restaurant #2

Today we visited El Patio, we had the expectation of enjoying a warm and enjoyable family breakfast in this restaurant in our land.

But oh surprise, they charged us 18% in mandatory tips for consumption over $40 Dollars, an additional 3% for card payment.

It really doesn't make me want to return to this place, they abuse with these additional charges!!

If you have the opportunity to go to this place, avoid the bad time!

The service is very attentive, the people, the place is beautiful, the food I have to say: I didn't like La Bandera Paisa, the beans were like overheated, the same as the pork rinds, the powdered meat was shredded meat.
The sancocho I ate was good, I recommend it. The prices are not the most economical nor are they too expensive, I would say acceptable, I suggest improving the paisa tray.

Excellent service, food was not fresh. The Chicharron had a rotten taste, the Buñuelo was not fresh and too oily, the piece of the steak in the Calentado looked like the leftovers of someone else

Empanadas are old, stale and cold absolutely disgusting. No music at 12:30pm and horrible service. Had to ask for plates. Brought one plate to a table of 2. We got our juice 10 minutes after ordering along with our food even though we saw her make the juice and she just left it sitting on the counter. Very confusing as she she admitted the empanadas were sitting for 2 hours so we’re not sure what took so long and they were cold. When we returned the rest of the empanadas is when she offered fresh ones. Why wasn’t that the standard or offered when we had asked if they were fresh?
We also noticed another table of 2 that came in after us got their drinks right away and also ordered empanadas that seemed to be getting made fresh unlike ours since we sat there for an extra 15 minutes and they were still waiting for theirs.

Unfortunately you can't give negative stars, because I would give them -5

We ordered grilled steak and the bandeja paisa to go. The steak was not cleaned properly at all with fat and membrane all over, completely gross at first bite. Unevenly cooked and meat tasted old.

Two hour old empanadas nasty and service was absolutely awful we had to ask for plates napkins and we only got one plate, I would never come back to this place or recommend it very disgusting food, service and the atmosphere was horrible as well.

Delicious, fresh food, quiet and clean.

I don't recommend it, the sobrebarriga in sauce that I ordered was salty. The food was delayed and one of the lousy dishes never arrived! Very bad service.

The food of one person on the table never arrived, they argued that they were doing it when we had all finished eating and without the option to lower the tip since it is included in the bill

Good service food was delicious, place is neat and cozy, prices are reasonable however they add 3% to any card transaction, to cover the cost of merchant services something that other places don’t do! Seen mix reviews about the soup have not yet been able to try them but rest assured I’ll be back for lunch and will see! Keep the great work so far
