H & R Grill use to be one of my favorite restaurants but with the recession going on the taste of the food is not the same (In my opinion the food is tasteless no flavor). You are paying more for less. It seems that staffing has gone down also. They do have a lunch special from 11am-2pm but on only selected items.

I am 100% Haitian & I know what fresh taste like.. I also know what left overs taste like. The food they serve is definitely NOT fresh. I used to order the spaghetti a lot year ago. It was delicious!! Now it old left over spaghetti being served everyday ! I stopped buying. The lady in the front is disgusting! I order for pick up. Get to the restaurant 30 mins later & my order still isn’t ready. I won’t be coming back here ! It just isn’t worth it.

I walked in to place an order. 4-5 minutes later, No one has greeted me. I start speaking out and begging for some service. A gentleman who was sitting right across the counter proceeds to explain to me that he was busy and i should wait... the guy was sitting on his phone texting.. i said at the very least he should greet me as a customer ask for a few minutes to get to me. I get scolded by this man and told that im the problem. He claims I walked in just to bash him and his establishment. It's unfortunate because when i walked in, i was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of this place. I was about to not only give them a 5 star review but also give them a generous shoutout on my social media. Haitian restaurants unfortunately have no idea how to treat clients. I left and did not order food.
