Visited La Dona before heading to the Amerant Center for a show. The restaurant is warmly decorated and we were greeted immediately. The service was prompt and the food was delicious. I appreciate the presentation and the effort put into serving both great presentation and great food. Look forward to returning soon.
We liked the food in general, as the taste was good and very close to the authentic flavors. If you are willing to try authentic mexican food beyond just tacos, this is a good place. Service was excellent: quick and attentive. The place is decorated with a modern style with traditional mexican details. Athmosphere is very good. That said, they lack a Kids Menu (there are not many options for children, not sure if this is intended) and we had the feeling the place is a bit overpriced...
