This place closes at 7 and I walked in before 630 and they were already counting and closing registers and was told someone in back would help me… after waiting for 5 minutes someone came out and ordered 3 tier bundlet cake but other customers kept coming in so I sat there and waited patiently until 3 more came in and were waited on.. I asked her when she was going to make my order because I was there before them and she said when she’s done waiting on all the other people… this isn’t right and will never do business here again.

Me and my family members went to this place, we went for some cake and once we got it I can proudly say this place is 1 of the best cake places I've ever had, I feel like it's the #1 place you can go for cake and I really do mean that, I can't get enough of this place and it's absolutely delicious. And this isn't an bias review I'm being 100% honest and I feel like nothing can top this place, absolutely amazing. I could eat this any day for dessert, I would prefer this for a birthday cake to be completely honest, if you have any questions just ask me about this amazing place! And it's a good price for what you get so you should come to this place if you're craving something sweet 100%

If I could give less than one star I would. I called to place an order for my sisters baby shower party favors and was told while on the phone ready to order that I could only order online. So I did, and came to pick up my order this morning only to be told that you dont have it or any record of it. Trying to think on my feet I asked to buy the buntinis that I saw in the window available only to be told that she doesn’t have my order even though I could see the food in front of me. This young girl shouldn’t have been left in charge by herself and I will never be using this bakery again.

I will never be back! As a parent the customer service at this location is beyond unacceptable! I went to purchase a personal Bundt just before the store closes at 7pm. The door was open and there was another customer at the counter. They refused service to me, even though I was only trying to purchase a personal Bundt cake from the fridge. They were so busy trying to get out of work for the night that they didn’t care that my 10 year old child, who was in the store with me, was upset, while the woman at the counter was served and her child walked out with their dessert. I emailed the manager and never heard back. Such poor customer service. I’d rather drive to another location than ever order from this location again.

I walked into the sunrise location on Sunday at 115 pm to order 10 inch cake for my sons bday paid $54 went back to pick it up at 310 pm store was closed not so much as courtesy call to let a customer know they close early on Sunday Went in yesterday a very dismissive “ poor excuse for a manager “ didn’t even apologize just said no refund cake is decorated “ all the cakes are decorated all they added was a bow and sign completely unacceptable they kept my cake and my money. I’ve been in customer service for many years never seen anyone with such poor customer service skills rude lack of care and dismissive . The owner of this place will soon be closing their doors with these kind of people running their business. I am contacting the better business bureau.

Ordered and paid for a cake on Wednesday for a birthday party at the sunrise location. The cake could not be picked up that day. The cake was for a party Friday night. The cake was ready for pick up on Friday at 1. I went to pick up at 3:30 and they were closed. I didn’t know that they had different hours for Black Friday. So we went to another bundt cake store that was open and got the cake there. The manager of the sunrise store basically told us we were SOL. A store credit would have been fine. I feel the right thing to do would have been to give a courtesy call and advise that the cake would be ready at 1 and we close and 3 on that day. Someone could have advised this when the cake was ordered. Customer Service gets a zero!!

I purchased the new lemon blueberry at the Sunrise Florida location on 5/11/24. Super excited to try as the cashier stated it was made with fresh blueberries and tasted just like a blueberry muffin. Unfortunately that was not the case. Instead it tasted exactly like the lemon cake. I found 2 shriveled blueberries on top. That’s it! See pictures! The next week I called to speak with the manager to discuss but I was told she wasn’t available. The girl on the phone at this location offered to help instead. I explained the situation and she stated she would contact the manager. After a lengthy hold she returned and stated that they can’t guarantee the amount of blueberries added to the mixture/cake but guaranteed that the blueberries are indeed fresh. I explained this cake lacked the minimal amount of blueberries to be called Lemon Blueberry. Despite my dissatisfaction, she reiterated there was nothing the manager wanted to do to rectify the situation. I was quite disappointed in her response and unwillingness to offer some incentive for an exchange. Just a few years ago our community rallied around this same exact location and business to support them during the very difficult days of COVID! As a small business owner myself it’s imperative to listen and connect with your community. This situation was a perfect opportunity to investigate what went wrong with this particular batch and open up a dialogue with a dissatisfied consumer! Luckily, South Florida has other NbC locations (Pembroke Pines location the staff are just delightful) and other amazing small business dessert shops that aim to satisfy their customers such as BLUEPRINT COOKIES in the Fountain Shops in Plantation.
