Went there for a birthday lunch. I hadn't been there in years. We started with crispy eggplant salad. Crispy eggplant with an exceptionally crispy coating, topped with herbed goat cheese and tomato jam on tender lettuce with a vinegret lightly applied to the plate. Excellent! I could eat it everyday. Then chicken crepes. Everything was so good.

We four women love A La Provence for our GNO. The service is fantastic; that is to say servers are experienced, offer good suggestions and make us feel special. The salads (below) are gorgeous and fresh, and a roasted garlic appetizer was sensational.

I made reservations through open table from out of state to celebrate my mother's 80th birthday. Got there and the air conditioner was broken- 84 degrees according to their thermostat. Waiter said, “The air conditioner is working, it's just not doing what it's suppose to.†Needless to say, that does not make for an enjoyable evening.
By far the best service I've ever received. The waiter made us feel very special. The food was delicious.

Food was very good, our waitress was good, but service was extremely slow. Not just slow, but extremely slow. When I asked our waitress about it,she said they had a large party in another room. We were 11 people, but apparently that other party was more important!!!
