We order a takeout, and the food was really good.So was the service. I was impressed.

Allow me to start off by saying that if it were possible to give negative stars it still would not be possible to achieve the amount necessary of how bad the service was tonight!
First we started off by waiting about 15 minutes in the lobby to be seated in a restaurant that only had seven tables sat. Which can be understood having only one server on the floor! However, after being sat, we were thanked by the one and only server on the floor for our patients. After which she took our drink order and an appetizer. All was seemingly off to a better start. However, this is where it took a nose dive when we ordered our actual meal and never saw our server again.
While waiting on our meal my kids drank every drop that was in their cups and ate all of their ice as well! They were however, wanting refills so I told them to politely go up to the bar and see if they could get some more to drink. It was then they were told by our server to go sit back down and wait for her to come to the table to refill our drinks. Mind you, this never happened. All the while, our meal came it was brought by completely different person. Come to find out we were never given utensils to eat with and after asking three times I began to eat my chicken tender salad with my bare hands. There was not one utensil at the hostess stand when I went to check and attempt to get them ourselves. After I had began to eat my salad with my bare hands they finally brought utensils to the table without so much as an apology. In fact, the person that brought them seemed like they were more upset that they had to bring them than the fact that they weren’t already there.
Please understand, that I definitely try to give the benefit of the doubt as I know restaurants can become busy with minimal staff! I informed whoever was behind the bar at the time that I was not paying for such an atrocious meal and I described to them what happened. All they could muster up was one single OK and not even attempt to apologize for the atrocious service. Needless to say, and I am aware that Applebee’s probably doesn’t care but we will not be returning.

I normally don't go to franchised restaurants but when I'm in a town I'm not used to, I will go to an Applebee's for some familiarity. I'm new in town and I have been to this Applebees twice and have had 3 different servers. I am so impressed with the servers that I have had and wonder if Applebee's just knows how to pick the right employees or do they have a great training program because these girls have been so pleasant. Both times there was some hold up in getting my food and that could make a server anxious and feel like it was going to affect their tip but with the 3 girls that served me, they were very professional and friendly. I never got any names but if you want to have pleasant serving experience, this Applebees is the place to go!

This is my favorite Applebee's, if you sit at the bar. Where you will actually get service. If you choose to navigate the booths and table options be prepared to wait much longer than what seems necessary considering the place is Empty. This Applebee's is rarely ever full but somehow the wait seems infinite. Should a mistake take place in your order, I suggest sucking it up as no one will come to your booth or table again once the food has been served.
If you eat at the bar, they are prompt, they respond in real time without lagging, and the appetizers are half price from 11 - 4.
The choice is yours.

Nov. 11, 2025. Veteran's Day meal was great. Our waitress, Paris was exceptionally kind and a great host. My meal was yummy. I had the grilled chicken with three cheese pasta. My kid had the cheese burger, but skimmed on the hamburger. Much smaller than the bun. The .. thank you Mr. Elwood for the hospitality. The price was reasonably great, it was complimentary. Note: Per our kind waitress on Tuesday kids meals are $2.00 versus $6.99. I didn't know this. I recommend this Applebee's. We will return. Thank you

Dissatisfied with almost everything about this night out. The restaurant was barely clean, not very busy for a Saturday night. With less folks you'd think the staff would be making an effort to clean things up and show a little energy. Our food was just passable. We were hungry so we made do with our meals. Mine was cold. Couldn't eat it. Waited forever then was told the manager wouldn't even adjust the bill, or offer something else, or even stop by our table to address my issues. I was NOT HAPPY. I am usually very fair and forgiving in these situations but Applebee's in Tallahassee on the Eastside, TOTALLY let us down. I will definitely find another restaurant next time.

The service was overall excellent, and the food was quite good. The late-night customer service was particularly impressive, and the food was prepared to perfection. The cocktail was also wonderful.

POOR MANAGEMENT
We got here at 2,:47 pm for late lunch. People just ahead of us were seated but despite many empty booths we were told there was a 10 minute wait because they were having a shift change meeting!
Well, 8 people just walked out, not willing to wait. Revenue lost.
WE WILL NOT RETURN!

I went here yesterday with my husband. We finally ordered. We waited FOREVER to get our food and it was barely Luke warm when we received it. Both our orders were WRONG. Not only that, when we received it we had been given ZERO silverware. My husband had to get up and go to a bartender to ask if someone could get us silverware because the previous waitresses we had asked STILL never brought us any. I ended up eating cold mash potatoes and giving my burger away to a homeless man. For $55, what a waste of money. I still tipped the waitress, but at this point I don’t think I should’ve.

The worst!! My husband and I arrived at 1:30 pm yesterday for lunch. There were 15 in front of us waiting, 8 walked out. Several came in behind us but no one came to greet any of us. There were about 12 open tables and no one cleaning off tables as guests left. Saw a gentleman delivering food who seemed to be a manager but he didn't even address the crowd of people waiting to be seated. So we left and went to another restaurant at 2:30 after waiting an hour with noone to seat us. When we left so did 6 others. Nice place to open a functioning restaurant. This is our second time there and won't try again.

Applebee's food has significantly declined over the years. I would not recommend eating here at all! The spinach dip was burnt
and tasteless. I also ordered traditional wings. The wings were tough and had absolutely no flavor. There was barely any sauce on them. It doesn't seem like there was any effort put into presentation or making sure the food tasted good. I would definitely give zero stars if I could!!!

I just spent $100 on takeout. I usually love Applebee’s food, but today was a disaster. The pasta was flavorless, as if it wasn’t prepared just a few hours ago, the fries were hard and cold (I know it was ordered to go, but I still know what fresh fries taste like), and the breadsticks were so hard that my kids couldn’t eat them. Honestly, it’s a shame. Everything ended up in the trash.

I ordered a midrare steak. When I got home I cut I to it and it was the consistency as shoe leather. The service was on point but the food was crap. Clearly they don't know how to cook or they're proficient in operating a microwave
