Applebee's Grill + Bar

POOR MANAGEMENT
We got here at 2,:47 pm for late lunch. People just ahead of us were seated but despite many empty booths we were told there was a 10 minute wait because they were having a shift change meeting!
Well, 8 people just walked out, not willing to wait. Revenue lost.
WE WILL NOT RETURN!

I went here yesterday with my husband. We finally ordered. We waited FOREVER to get our food and it was barely Luke warm when we received it. Both our orders were WRONG. Not only that, when we received it we had been given ZERO silverware. My husband had to get up and go to a bartender to ask if someone could get us silverware because the previous waitresses we had asked STILL never brought us any. I ended up eating cold mash potatoes and giving my burger away to a homeless man. For $55, what a waste of money. I still tipped the waitress, but at this point I don’t think I should’ve.

The worst!! My husband and I arrived at 1:30 pm yesterday for lunch. There were 15 in front of us waiting, 8 walked out. Several came in behind us but no one came to greet any of us. There were about 12 open tables and no one cleaning off tables as guests left. Saw a gentleman delivering food who seemed to be a manager but he didn't even address the crowd of people waiting to be seated. So we left and went to another restaurant at 2:30 after waiting an hour with noone to seat us. When we left so did 6 others. Nice place to open a functioning restaurant. This is our second time there and won't try again.

Applebee's food has significantly declined over the years. I would not recommend eating here at all! The spinach dip was burnt
and tasteless. I also ordered traditional wings. The wings were tough and had absolutely no flavor. There was barely any sauce on them. It doesn't seem like there was any effort put into presentation or making sure the food tasted good. I would definitely give zero stars if I could!!!

I just spent $100 on takeout. I usually love Applebee’s food, but today was a disaster. The pasta was flavorless, as if it wasn’t prepared just a few hours ago, the fries were hard and cold (I know it was ordered to go, but I still know what fresh fries taste like), and the breadsticks were so hard that my kids couldn’t eat them. Honestly, it’s a shame. Everything ended up in the trash.

I ordered a midrare steak. When I got home I cut I to it and it was the consistency as shoe leather. The service was on point but the food was crap. Clearly they don't know how to cook or they're proficient in operating a microwave

We were there on 2 evenings and sat at the bar. The bartender was very nice and mixed great drinks. I told him that I would like a cocktail with pineapple juice and coconut. He made me a very tasty cocktail. On the first evening I ate a great, delicious salad. An offer last night...grilled chicken breast with broccoli. It was both very well prepared and a lot. Thank you so much for the great time at the bar. The bartender did a great job!!!

For it to be a slow day, I'm guessing, according to the emptiness in the restaurant, and it being after 4 pm, we still had to wait almost 30 mins for seating along with 2 other waiting parties. Why, I couldn't understand. The server was as enthusiastic as E'ore eating his lunch, if that tells you anything. Upon ordering and looking around at the scarce customer base, I didn't figure it would take long for our order. Burger, chicken sandwich, both w/fries, and tea.

Looks can obviously be deceiving in this place. You'd think it was one of those mob boss establishments... dark and silent.

My tea glass hit the bottom twice, and that was just casually sipping. One while waiting on food, the other, after the food got to the table.

Server didn't seem to enjoy being at work for whatever reason. Customer service was definitely lacking on his part as he walked by numerous times without many concerns at our table.

Unfortunately, I won't be visiting that restaurant again.

We honestly didn’t know this location existed. There was a wait. However, the server, food, and drinks were excellent! I ordered a virgin drink and it was perfect! Our entree was a decent price and the atmosphere was pleasant. The manager came over and asked us about our experience!

Our waitress was very attentive and one of the best we ever had in all the restaurants in Tallahassee. We greatly her service too!

I ate here today around 1:30 pm and I was very displeased with the service. Our waitress was obviously not trained to perform her job. My wife and I both ordered iced tea , we got water. The waitress removed the water and spilled some of it on the table and didn't bother to wipe it up or offer us a napkin or anything to wipe it up ourselves. She couldn't understand our order so I had to show her a picture on the menu and even after that she couldn't understand that we both were ordering the same thing. After about 45 minutes we ask her when our meal would be ready she replied that she didn't know but she would check with the kitchen. She returned and stated that it would be ready in about 10 more minutes and asked why was that a problem ? We expressed our dissatisfaction with the long wait. After another 15 minutes she brought our meal but without silverware. She then brought me a refill and took my straw. After another 10 minutes she came by and I had to ask for another straw. She never asked my wife if she wanted a refill so we had to call her over to request a refill. Get ready , next she brought our bill and it was wrong ,it was someone else's bill . Well we finally got our bill and guess what ? It was wrong too she forgot to charge us for the iced tea. We also noticed that other customers were having problems too. This was not the first time I've eaten at this Applebee's but it is the first time I've had a problem there. Either the management isn't doing their job or this employee needs to seek a different occupation. My daughter warned me about this place, she also had a bad experience here recently.
