We were visiting Tallahassee for FAMU’s Homecoming. We asked the hotel manager about places to eat. He recommended Backwoods Crossing. Our server Madison R. provided exceptional service. Her description of the entrees was perfect. The overall dining experience was amazing, very unique and very enjoyable.
Great Dog friendly restaurant! The food was yummy and fresh, the drink was good (Smokie the beer). Would recommend the apple chicken Brie sandwich (3 of 4 ordered and liked it), and the tuna & truffle was a 4/5. The bread was so fresh and fluffy with perfect toasted layer for the contents of the sandwich to not get soggy 10/5. The honey mustard was the BEST honey mustard ive ever had ( i consider myself a conisour of honey mustard) and even purchased a jar of it. Yummy!
This was our first time eating here and the food and drinks were great. We sat in the garden with our furry pooch, and our server was friendly, fun, and efficient. All of our food was fresh, warm, and just as we ordered. We LOVED the Bread! We will definitely eat here again when we're back in town.
