Sadly, this is the last time I'm going to this restaurant. I've been there twice before and each time I've gone it's gotten worse. We went last night as a group of four and when we sat down at a table the bartender was fairly quick to ask us what we wanted to drink and bring them. Then we sat there for nearly 20 minutes watching The Waitresses go back and forth. Finally we stopped one and asked who our waitress will be and she said I guess it will be me. From the time we ordered our food, which was basically four orders of a dozen oysters on the half shell, nearly an hour went by while we watched other people who got their long after us get served their oysters. We finally found our waitress and ask what the holdup is and she said she would check. We didn't see her for another 10 minutes. The bartender passed our table again to see if we wanted more drinks and we then asked him what the story was and explain to him that others have already been served I got here after us. He went and checked and within a few minutes we come to find out that our order was never put in. Finally, after another 15 minutes are oysters started to come out but at no point was there any apology or explanation

Fun bar/restaurant. Fried shrimp was amazing. Prices very reasonable. Typical "dive" bar kind of atmosphere...in a good way! We'll be back.

I love Birds. We met my brother and his wife traveling from out of town, their first time. They were undeterred by the cops in the parking lot whatever was going on, and we forged ahead with our meal - loved the dozen raw oysters, the Mahi fritters and my Impossible burger with onion rings, all were on point. My wife’s grouper sandwich was barely edible (believe me I tried) due to being way over fried. I love coming here for the oysters but I’ll be hard pressed getting her to come back. My brother and his wife loved it and the beer was cold so I’m guessing that helped.

Parking: They’re doing something weird with orange poles now. I was still able to park OK but it was tight.

Such a fun laid back place. Loved all the posters on the wall. The food was fantastic. Our waitress was great, friendly. Helpful and also nice on the eyes.

This place was recommended to us by a local. Wow!! It did not disappoint. Best burger I have ever had in my life.. No exaggeration. It was BIG and DELICIOUS. Prices are fair, and service was on point. Will definitely be back.

Super divey dive bar, but the food is on point. The seasoning on their coleslaw and burger (I got an Impossible) was the bomb. You can tell this is a well-loved local establishment that has been around for ages. Looks like their karaoke is popular. A must stop if you have a connection at the Tallahassee Greyhound station.

I ordered the blackened grouper and the shrimp appetizer. The food was decent. The grouper wasn’t really blackened and the blackening seasoning they used was super salty. The way the grouper was cooked definitely needs improvement and doesn’t need to be covered and drowned with water to steam it on the flat top. I should’ve been seared with a crisp crust on the outside and finished it the oven to avoid the watery mess. The shrimp was perfect but could’ve used a couple lime or lemon wedges on the side.
For the price, it could’ve been better. If I’m in town again I’ll definitely give it another shot, obviously I won’t order the same thing.
Service was pretty decent for a takeout order.
