I got the wedge salad - disappointed that the lettuce was old and browning… how do you serve someone that?? Also service at takeout window was much less than friendly. Won’t be back.

We had a horrible experience at BJ's. We went on a Friday evening when they have a Prime Rib special. In the past, the prime rib has been very good. This night, however, it was overcooked and tasted like Worcestershire and seasoning only, no meat taste. Our friend ordered a sirloin medium rare and it came out looking like a hard rock of meat and cooked medium well. He could barely cut into it. The baked potatoes also looked as if they'd been cooked the day before and reheated too long that day. The only good part of the meal was the Pazookie at the end. Very disappointed in the food.
Had dinner at BJ’s Restaurant in Tallahassee and was thoroughly impressed. The food was absolutely exquisite—fresh, flavorful, and cooked just right. From the appetizers to the main course, everything was top-notch. The service was equally excellent—attentive without being overbearing, and very friendly. A truly enjoyable dining experience. I’ll definitely be back.
Food was good, service was lacking. Also, happy hour is only applicable if you sit at the bar, who knew?
Everything went without a single problem.
I ordered a side of brussel sprouts today and specified curbside delivery. It was pouring down when I arrived at the restaurant. Not sure of the process, I assumed the restaurant would send me instructions on whether to pull up, wait at the curbside, or come in. I was prepared to do whatever considering how bad it was raining. Once I selected I had arrived, I received a message saying that I was checked in and someone would be with me shortly. After waiting about 10 minutes I went in to get my food. I heard the woman at the checkout speaking on the phone saying “ We have the food. However, we usually don’t bring out food in the rain.” I thought well why not make that known. Put a sign out that says come in rather than a text that says the opposite. I didn’t mind going in but don’t assume your customers will know to do that. Given that a tip was suggested when ordering, I’m sure some people tipped considering the rain. Lastly the brussel sprouts were cooked and plated with the stems still attached. I recently feel in love with brussel sprouts and these were the worst I’ve had. I thought there were peanuts cooked in them because I kept biting something hard and nasty. It was the stem. So I got out in the pouring down rain and paid a tip, for horrible service and food. Not tripping on the tip it was only the suggested amount but the cooked stems. I ordered from Bumpas shortly afterwards and the brussel sprouts were amazing.
Lord, I see what you have done for dinosaurs. I seek the same for BJs, nationwide. Filthy restaurant, disgusting food every time. edit- from someone who worked fine dining for nearly two decades: it ALWAYS leads back to management. you won’t say anything constructive to your staff. (you aren’t managing anything 🥂💅🏼)
Came in at 8:30 pm and still no food at 9:22 pm. Extremely disappointed.
There were 8 of us. Our waiter was fantastic at getting our orders right, double checking them and separating our checks especially since we weren't sitting next to our spouses. The food was just right and the birthday pizookies were delicious.
Celebrated my wife's birthday
She enjoyed the prime rib full. Meal with dessert
And the Mac and cheese bits for an appetizer.
My son got shrimp Tacos and I got the the fried Jalapeno cheese Burger.
All of it was very good , service was prompt and overall great experience tonight ,thank you BJs

This is your place if you want to try the worst restaurant in Tallahassee. First off, let me say that there was practically no one in the restaurant. Maybe 5-6 tables taken and waiters and waitresses walking around apathetically. Family of four with two small children went unacknowledged for 10 minutes upon entering the restaurant. Once we got our table, we again went unacknowledged by a server until we finally just left the restaurant. We had a terrible experience here before, but wanted to give it another shot. Safe to say, no member of my family will ever be back.
This place was great! Food was good. Simple but comfortable atmosphere. Our server was super nice. I wish I remembered her name but she had purple hair 😉 Want to make sure she gets credit! We had a good time.
Our reservation was at 7, but we didn't get to sit till 8:15 because their reservation system does not work correctly and over booked
Service and food very slow, somewhat understandable with it being graduation weekend. Received entrees at separate times, nothing was truly hot. Restaurant desperately needs a cleaning, trash everywhere on the floor and seemed it hasn't been mopped in ages, restrooms not cleanly.
It was graduation weekend so a wait getting there despite having a reservation was expected and fine, they were doing their best considering a ton of people coming in, however the service was horrible. Our drinks took 40 minutes, which our server did not give us a heads up the bar was backed up (which would have been fine if we were just communicated with), I was told my “side of beans” could not be substituted because they came on top (they did not and should have been able to sub it), my grandma was not given a spoon with her soup for 10 minutes, beer was spilled on my grandpa by a server walking by and was not handed a towel or anything to help clean it off his suit, my food arrived incorrect, i was given two options ordering “grilled” or “blackened” and my food arrived fried. Additionally, our drinks were not refilled at any point nor dishes cleared off, despite the time we were sat at our table amounted to over two hours due to delays in getting food. The manager did comp 25% of our bill for the beer being spilled on my grandpa, however nothing was done for the other concerns.
