It was graduation weekend so a wait getting there despite having a reservation was expected and fine, they were doing their best considering a ton of people coming in, however the service was horrible. Our drinks took 40 minutes, which our server did not give us a heads up the bar was backed up (which would have been fine if we were just communicated with), I was told my “side of beans” could not be substituted because they came on top (they did not and should have been able to sub it), my grandma was not given a spoon with her soup for 10 minutes, beer was spilled on my grandpa by a server walking by and was not handed a towel or anything to help clean it off his suit, my food arrived incorrect, i was given two options ordering “grilled” or “blackened” and my food arrived fried. Additionally, our drinks were not refilled at any point nor dishes cleared off, despite the time we were sat at our table amounted to over two hours due to delays in getting food. The manager did comp 25% of our bill for the beer being spilled on my grandpa, however nothing was done for the other concerns.

On a busy day (2 graduations in the town) the host welcomed and provided great hospitality. Waiter was prompt once we were seated, from ordering to checking out, he ensured we were taken care of. Food was delicious, hands down very good service. Keep up the good work!

We've been here before while visiting our daughter in college and we've had really good service, but that was not the case today. Some of the food was overcooked, service was slow and inattentive. It's not likely I'd pay another $200 for this kind of food and service.

It was extremely slow to get our food out and one of my party ordered the grilled veggies and thought she would get a salad bowl amount, but it was way smaller than that and she was the last one to get served. Our server was AWESOME though!

I decided to give BJ's another try today with my friend and made a reservation for 5:30 PM. As soon as I arrived, I requested Nina because she was the highlight of my last visit. At first, I was disappointed when one hostess told me her section was full and I couldn't have her. However, after my obvious look of displeasure, the second hostess accommodated me by seating us near her section so she could still take care of our table. Once again, Nina was absolutely amazing—attentive, on point, and truly the best part of the experience. She has a wonderful personality, a great attitude, and an incredible ability to anticipate customer needs. She checks in at just the right moments without being intrusive, making the entire dining experience enjoyable. If you're at BJ's Tallahassee, do yourself a favor and ask for Nina. She's hands down the best server there!

recently dined at BJ's with a group of friends and had a mixed experience. The highlight of our visit was our amazing server, Nina. She was attentive, kind, and truly the best part of our evening. If I ever come back, it would be because of her exceptional service. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience left much to be desired. I originally had a reservation for four and later tried to add a second for my son and his friend. Since I couldn't modify it over the phone they had to wait upon arrival. Despite multiple empty two-top tables being available, we were told they'd have to wait 45 minutes to an hour. Nina, going above and beyond, offered to serve them at a nearby empty table, but management refused. The manager stated that servers could only have four tables at a time, even though Nina was willing and able to accommodate them. This policy seemed unnecessary, and the hostess was also quite rude—when the rest of our party arrived, she didn't seat them but instead told them to find us on their own. The food and drinks were disappointing as well. The portions for the chip and dip trio were very small, and when I asked for a little extra sauce, I was told I had to place an entirely new order. One of our dips, the spicy queso, arrived cold, and when it was sent back, the kitchen simply microwaved it—burning half of it in the process and returning even less than what we originally had. Our drinks were also a letdown. We ordered the Lucky Ducky, expecting the cute pink drink with garnishes shown in the menu photo, but what arrived was a blue drink in a plastic tub, missing the duck and garnishes. We weren't informed of the change until after the drinks arrived, at which point we learned they were out of the pink coloring. Overall, while Nina was fantastic, the lack of hospitality from management, the hostess, and the kitchen staff really put a damper on the evening. I wouldn't recommend this location based on the food and drinks, but if I could guarantee Nina as

The kitchen was horrible. We visit BJ's several times each year. This was by far the worst. Food took forever to get out.

We had a reservation for 6PM and was seated in about 5 minutes. We waited for over 20 minutes after watching and listening to several waitresses who couldn't decide who was the waiter for our table. When we finally were waited on, the waiter said that the valentine special that they had ran out of the special. Since we had very poor serve, my wife and I left. Before leaving I spoke to the manager who couldn't have care less. Will never go back to this b j restaurant.

Good service. Happy with the GF choices. Food was delicious. Extra precaution taken due to gluten allergy.

For 1 we were placed in a bad spot, the staff knew it wasn’t any working lights in that area & didn’t consider sitting us elsewhere. Whomever the cook was on 2/2/25 round bout 6 has no idea what they’re doing. My rice wasn’t ready the first time, they remade it & it was good & mushy. Only thing that was worth it was that shot of tequila I had. I highly recommend you find another job if this ain’t what you really wanna do. But overall nice restaurant.

This was the first visit to BJ's in a while and this experience reminded me that it's not a place to go for good, fresh food. I did order a piezookie to share with my husband and it was just ok, the ice cream was more like two shavings instead of scoops as the waiter had described it. There is nothing special about this restaurant and the food nor service is not worth the money. We asked the waiter to remove our plates from the table prior to serving the dessert and he did not. Definitely not in a hurry to return to this location in Tallahassee.

This can be a good restaurant but a few things are wrong. The manager/owner needs to quality control it.
Broccoli and asparagus not looking good served. Ordered medium sirloin, got medium well.
Server could've been cleaner. Had an odor but maybe was just working very hard and all day.
I will go back though.

First time visit but won’t be back. Food is overpriced and taste like Ale house leftovers. My potato was cold and the steak sauce was a sweet barbecue. Steak was charred but not cooked to medium well; very red. Only offered A1 after. No flavor. I wasn’t done with my salad and it was taken from the table. Wings were dry and need some type of sauce. We ordered the lemon pepper rub. The music taste was not good. I just expected more. I’ll stick to Longhorn or even Ale house. We tipped well but that was a first and last.

Visiting family in town and recommended BJs as the location where we live is great. This location was shockingly bad. The service was not friendly from the hostess to the server. The restaurant was empty and took over 30 mins to receive pizookis only to be told on delivery one we ordered was not available. The ones delivered were not fresh with mostly melted ice cream and incorrect flavors. This location is not like others, avoid.
