Enjoyed a business lunch at Bowden's. We arrived at opening so there was no problem getting a table. Our server was immediately on us. Gave us plenty of time to chat and review the menu. My associate ordered fish tacos and I ordered the lemon chicken. My grilled chicken was good. The sauce was a bit too lemony for my taste, that's subjective. I had broccoli and slaw as side dishes. Slaw needed seasoning and more dressing. Being a weekday, the place was not busy - as I would expect in CollegeTown.

We were at Bowden's most recently for the Inside Seminole Football show, sitting in the outside area. The weather was gorgeous so it was a great evening to eat outside. I had the Cubano sandwich and it was excellent! The bread was nice and toasty and the meat/cheese proportion was perfect. It came with fries that were hot and perfectly cooked. My wife had garlic Parmesan wings and she loved them. The wings were temperature hot and crispy, and she said she could drink the sauce! They looked so good that someone who joined us latter ordered them, too! Our server was friendly and did a great job of checking on us, refilling our water, and getting a second round of drinks for us, without hovering. Overall a great experience and we'll definitely be back!

Bowdens is in a great location and has a great layout, but is the WORST MANAGED ESTABLISHMENT IN TALLAHASSEE. I’ve been there over a dozen times and the experience is exact the same. There are always tables open, but the hostess will tell you it’s a 45 minute wait. After an hour, you still won’t be notified, despite many tables still being available. I really don’t understand why the servers and hostess aren’t on the same page, but it’s always the case. Go somewhere else!

The food was okay, Nachos i was not a fan of at all. Sandwich was decent. Service wasn't bad but wad thin for some reason not much staff. When we were helped she was sweet and attentive. Id definitely come back and have another meal.

Bowdens was a great night and it’s because jenny was spectacular. We sat down at a table here in Bowdens and were instantly greeted by jenny. She politely asked us if we would like to order drinks, and I obviously said yes. She was quick and always checking in if we needed anything. Top tier service from jenny and if you EVER come to Bowdens, request her.
