I became sick with food poison after having eaten here. I had the veggie burger. I'm not sure how those in charge of food prep managed to mess this up so badly. I almost ended up in the hospital to get an IV due to dehydration. I was that sick. Thank God for Gatorade. If one is a fan of Bobby Bowden, then by all means please check out the decor. The service was good. The staff was friendly. The menu should have directions to the hospital printed on the back of it. I'm not going back. I don't like being sick.

Visited Bowden’s for the first time a few weeks ago and enjoyed our experience. Service was friendly and helpful. We tried the pretzels and they were delicious. We also tried the burgers (I’m sorry can’t remember which ones we ordered) but they were flavorful. The restaurant was clean and I’m sure during football season this place stays packed.

The bouncer at the front (did not get his name). He was a taller, slender, younger man, looked like a college student with dark brown hair (middle part). He was completely unprofessional, he lied about it being his first day and denied my friends entrance. He said they were not old enough (both are 22) and when I got in there were 7 year olds IN THE BAR. I talked to other people at the bar and they said he lies about it being his first day often so he can get money under the table. This is so sad to see and he truly ruined my friend's birthday. I hope this establishment takes this review into consideration. Thank you.

Service was terrible, as did not made sport bar /restaurant fun—-Did not take advantage TV/Sport event but play some other music with bright lights do not create environment....therefore no fun and too much money for any common food

We stopped by Bowden’s while in town for FSU orientation and had a great experience thanks to our bartender, Nate. His service truly stood out—attentive, friendly, and went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of. Even when the kitchen ran out of broccoli, he quickly offered a substitute and made sure we were happy with it.

The food itself was just okay—nothing remarkable—but Nate’s hospitality really elevated the visit. As parents of a new FSU student, we’ll definitely be back again. Hopefully next time the kitchen catches up with him!

Service was terrible. They ran out of silverware and plastic silverware. Gave my appetizer order to a different table. Burgers were overcooked. Unbelievably loud. The only good thing is that we were seated quickly.

If it wasn't for the friendly staff, the rating would be lower. The food is meh at best- I tried one of the burgers, it was like eating at Wendy's, nothing special. None of the FSU based local beers were available on tap- they lost sales permission. It's just a cheap sports bar with unpolished concrete floor. I can't believe the Bowden family allows their name on the marquee. Compared to Spurrier's in Gainesville this is a dive, offers no football memorabilia, and has a lame unappetizing menu.

The chicken wing appetizer was terrible and we had to send that back. I understand it's a college bar so the service is not prompt due to the volume of people I say so I don't hold that against them. Besides the waitress was very nice. When the entrées came, the chicken, tender platters were pathetic. The pieces of chicken were too small to be considered a tender and then over fried tremendously. And if the place, is that busy, how can the entrées be served with cold waffle fries! That makes no sense. I came here to see my son for the college weekend, but I can assure you unless there's a football game on and I'm at the bar I won't be visiting Bowden's anymore. I hope they can write that ship because it's a great location and having his name on it is meaningful to us, Seminoles!

Great service— definitely make a reservation for dining-especially during happy hour:) Good food and fun and lovely atmosphere. Go Noles!

Love Bowden's, but we made our last reservation on Open Table, the same day, as we had guests arrive. The reservation was for 12pm. Arrived with guests for our reservation and were told that because it was Spring Break week, they decided not to open until 1pm. We had not allowed that time into our itinerary, so left to find a restaurant nearby for lunch. I know it has nothing to do with Open Table, as Bowden's is who opened the time slots on Open Table, but it was disappointing after telling our guests about Bowden's. So we did not get to use our reservation. Disappointed!!!

It was Super Bowl Sunday so obviously really loud and busy which is cool but 30 mins of a fire alarm going off could have been avoided.

The restaurant was out of a food. No cheddar cheese - no pork for the Cuban sandwich and something else they were out of. Not the servers fault but pretty bad to run out of food for an even such as inside Seminole football.

Element for lunch on a Sunday after an FSU game. There were only a few tables eating when we got there. It took our server 15 min to greet us, and that happened after I went to the hostess who sat us again. Our service was very slow and they were out of several items. She definitely didn't want to be there. We got 3 appetizers and all were very small portions and tasteless. Would not recommend
