I became sick with food poison after having eaten here. I had the veggie burger. I'm not sure how those in charge of food prep managed to mess this up so badly. I almost ended up in the hospital to get an IV due to dehydration. I was that sick. Thank God for Gatorade. If one is a fan of Bobby Bowden, then by all means please check out the decor. Visited Bowden’s for the first time a few weeks ago and enjoyed our experience. Service was friendly and helpful. We tried the pretzels and they were delicious. We also tried the burgers (I’m sorry can’t remember which ones we ordered) but they were flavorful. The restaurant was clean and I’m sure during football season this place stays packed.
We stopped by Bowden’s while in town for FSU orientation and had a great experience thanks to our bartender, Nate. His service truly stood out—attentive, friendly, and went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of. Even when the kitchen ran out of broccoli, he quickly offered a substitute and made sure we were happy with it.
