Great food and great service. They may seem slow but that's only because they're trying their best to make the food very enjoyable 10/10 would go again.

I came to this place on a whim after finally hearing great reviews from various friends. The hype is valid. Great breakfast food cooked fresh with a country-esque taste. I personally recommend the catfish and pancakes. Next time I'll have to bring a larger appetite!

A pretty basic lunch buffet place that gets an extra star for their cobblers. They know how to make them and they pay attention to getting the crust done just right. A big pan of cobbler is so common on many buffets but most don't bother to show it any love. Just something simple to put out to fill out the buffet. Not here. Nicely browned crust that caramelizes the butter and sugar. Dough cooked all the way. Not quite my grandma's peach cobbler but pretty dawgone close. Close enough to come back just because of the cobbler. They mentioned that they sometimes do a cherry cobbler so here's hoping that's available the next time. It apparently was chicken day for the meat entrees on the Wednesday that I visited. Fried chicken, baked chicken and smothered chicken were available. There was liver and onions (ugh) as well. The fried chicken was my favorite. It was a simple salt/pepper/flour fried chicken that relies on the flavor of the chicken and the browned crust to delight your taste buds. The vegetables were pretty basic. Good but no "that's the way we do it" taste. The greens were good but they don't have any pepper vinegar, just hot sauce, to put on them. :-( The layout is simple with the buffet and counter in one room and a large but simple dining room next to that. You pay first then help yourself. Some people will find the location not to their liking as the parking lot is a little rough, the outside is pretty plain and it is kind of off the beaten path. My father once took me to the old 8th & Main Diner in Jacksonville after all the seedy bars let out because he was craving liver and onions (ugh again) so I figure if I could handle that greasy spoon I can handle anything. Once inside Break Fast, I found it neat and clean with friendly folks. Definitely worth a return especially for that cobbler.

It’s ok but a little pricey for breakfast. Satisfactory assortment of foods and good choice of meats on breakfast buffet. Cheese grits were excellent! Would advise not going on a Saturday morning as you have to maneuver around unsupervised children at the buffet grabbing pieces of bacon out of the tray with bare hands, running back and forth through dining room, etc. Also, I was never offered a refill on coffee or water. May try again on a week day (during school) for, hopefully, a better experience.

i love this place. i love the food. everything is made fresh including the eggs (which is rare). whenever i get a few minutes before i go to work i try and stop by to get some of their food. and i just found out that they now serve coffee. i have to say this was like an early Christmas. the coffee was the best cup of coffee I've had at a restaurant in a loooong time. thank you break fast grill. i will be back.

Three years open - and I haven't heard about it until just now!?! While Olean's and Earley's are closed on Sundays - Reggie and Katherine are decidedly open. It's 0930 on this Sunday morning and I'm on the Kessel Run to the flea market when, 'lo, I remembered recent chitchat about a place on Polk and so - banging a Uey, I found my way to this open corner of welcoming buffet magnetism. 100% made in house (except the corned beef hash). Solid fare and clearly a popular destination for those nearby and In the know. I almost get the idea that it's intended to be kept a secret - but I'm about to change all that! Check out the pictures and come for yourself. Well worth it.
