What a blessing that we found this place on Google maps! We were greeted by the cheerful and energetic lady owner who listened and gave some of her recommendations. We went with them and did not regret it. As you see, we got quite the spread as starters, namely: mushroom and spinach puff pies, hummus with beef(yerushalmi), kibbeh and falafel.The food vanished quickly! The main course was just as delicious. Even for a picky teen who doesn’t like to venture out with ethnic food - the shawarma turned out to be his absolute favorite! The pita bread was amazing too! Highly recommend stopping by there while in town. Nothing beats a lovely homestyle meal made with love and pride by the owner herself!

This was the first time I've had proper Israeli food and it was tremendous. I loved the bread, the rice was insanely flavorful and of course, the turkey shawarma was the star of the show.There was a lady there that appeared to be taking orders, serving the restaurant and making food all on her own. She did so with a kind heart and a positive attitude. I would definitely recommend this place.

Fantastic. We were genuinely surprised to find this quality of food in Tallahassee - these dishes would hit the spot in any city! The shakshuka was all I could have hoped for, faring well in comparison to Tel Aviv. Bourekas were also excellent, as was the baklava. We also had the falafel - not the mild stuff you get at Americanized "Mediterranean" joints. And the Turkish coffee was smooth and not as harsh as I expected based on what I recall from Istanbul. Don't miss it!Parking: We parked right in front of the door. No problem.

This is the best casual lunch we have enjoyed in Tallahassee! We visit our student occasionally and have tried many places including several other Mediterranean restaurants. THIS ONE IS WAY BETTER! The food is delicious and homemade with care. We had bourekas, hummus, falafel, schnitzel and shwarma--all fantastic. I don't bother to write many Google reviews but i cannot recommend this gem highly enough!
It’s an authentic sweet little place with really good home-feel food. The owner took our order, then headed to the kitchen to make it. It really just felt like visiting a friend. Not many places you can go to in this town that feel like that.

Had the falafel plate and the shawarma pita. Both were outstanding. The pita was homemade and served piping hot. The hummus was the best I've ever had. Finished with a tasty baklava. Next trip to Tallahassee, I'd go out of my way to have lunch here again.
