Seriously, avoid this place. They will mess up your food, take your money, and take no responsibility. They keep giving you a story that the managers out of the country, and the assistant manager is conveniently never there. It does not matter what time of day you call the assistant manager is never there. So they don't mind taking your money, but they will not provide service!

Loved Cajun & Grill in Ft Lauderdale. It was my FAVORITE mall food. Here in Tallahassee, it’s AWFUL! The worst! No flavor at all. Not worth eating. Save your money. Bring your own lunch.

so I’m mainly ordered from this place through DoorDash, maybe three or four times but the last time I ordered through them I got sick. I didn’t even eat the whole platter. I may be ate five bites because I wanted to save the rest for later, but maybe 20 minutes after I took that last bite my stomach was a mess. I had heard stories about this place, causing food sickness, but I was steady ordering from them because the food was just that good and it wasn’t causing me any problem until it did really unfortunate because I love this place, especially their eggrolls. Hopefully they get their cleanliness and food sanitary practices together.

In the Governor Square Mall food court. The Mall and food court open at 11 am on weekdays.
Today I was their first customer. :)
I had red beans and rice, sweet corn, Bourbon Chicken, an Egg Roll and some Unsweet Tea.

I paid for double sides, double meat. When I open my box, I thought they had mistakenly given me one meat instead of double. When I asked her, she insisted that it was double meat. I’ve eaten here for years so I know that that wasn’t factual, but there was a big line and I didn’t want to hold them up. I’ve posted a side-by-side of what I received and what they have on their site for the meal that I paid for. Mine is the one with a greenbeans. The one that’s on their site is the one with the rice and corn… you tell me if these plates look the same. She was rude to me and tried to rush me off insisting that I had double meat. So essentially, I paid for double meat and I didn’t even get a healthy one portion of meat. Food is too expensive these days. You would be better off going to the barbecue restaurant next to them because they actually give you your moneys worth.

Lately the customer service have been horrible. Not sure if there’s new management because I don’t see the same people working anymore and the portions have gotten extremely small. The spicy bourbon chicken not spicy anymore either just tastes like the regular bourbon. I used to could eat off my plate 2-3 times now I can only eat once. The price has also went up. I think my last time going was my last time.

I love this place and have loved it ever since there was only one in town @the old Tallahassee Mall. I was in line the FIRST day it opened up! Have loved it ever since but the customer service has been horrible in recent years. Today I was served by a mixed black young lady and she was AMAZING!! The food was as good as it has ever been, but the customer service really made it for me! The food can be AMAZING but if you get poor quality service, that is all you will walk away with. When the service is AMAZING it makes your meal, your day, your week and makes you anticipate returning. I didn't get her name but she was outstanding! I just had to write about it! Thank you!
