I'm pretty sure at this point I am 75% Zoe's Revenge ice coffee. Best coffee in town hands down. Staff is always amazing and welcoming. Been grabbing coffee here for the last 3-4 years and they never miss. If you need a good cup of coffee THIS is the spot.
I will say the coffee was really great. My partner and i agreed it’s some of the best coffee we’ve had. However, the customer service aspect was extremely disappointing. We come in and two of the workers just stared at us. I walk up to place my order and the man who took our orders kept looking us up and down. He had the most judgemental look on his face. He never prompted us. Just looked at me like i was dumb waiting to order. Maybe it was the band tee i was wearing and he didn’t like the artist…but he also gave the same look to my partner. The barista who made our coffee was very sweet, this isn’t about her in any way. I hate to make assumptions, but I wouldn’t recommend this to any queer couples. My partner is very masc presenting so it’s pretty obvious when you look at us. We deal with this pretty much every day in public, so it’s not surprising, just really disappointing. If you’re looking for an obviously queer friendly coffee place in the area, The Black Dog is amazing. Again, I hate to make assumptions, but even if he was just having a bad day, that’s no way to act towards a customer. I’m not a Karen, I’ve worked customer service for years, but treat people with kindness next time :)

I am removing one star for each dollar it costs to sub oat milk in my drink. $2 up-charge is insane. This will keep me from coming back unfortunately.

Tried this little family owned cafe on Gaines St. this morning for breakfast and it was great! Food and coffee was hot and full of flavor and staff was very friendly. I had a breakfast bowl with egg, grilled veggies, provolone cheese, and bacon and my husband had the French toast sandwich. Definitely will be back!
