Formal Complaint Regarding Drive-Through Experience
Dear Checkers Customer Service Team,
I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with a recent experience at one of your locations.
I placed an order approximately five minutes before arriving at the restaurant, intending to pick it up at the drive-through window. Due to heavy rainfall at the time, I chose not to go inside, and my plan was to retrieve the order through the drive-through lane.
When I reached the window, the employee—who appeared to be a manager—informed me that it was company policy for all orders not placed directly through the drive-through to be picked up inside. I explained the situation, noting the severe weather, but was still told I would have to exit my vehicle and go inside.
Given the circumstances and the lack of accommodation, I requested to cancel the order. The employee agreed, and I left without receiving the food.
I found this interaction to be both inconvenient and lacking in customer consideration, especially given the weather conditions. I believe this policy—or at least the manner in which it was enforced—could be reconsidered to better serve customers in similar situations.
I would appreciate clarification on this policy and whether exceptions can be made under extreme weather conditions. Additionally, I hope my feedback can be used to help improve the customer experience.

Last night myself and my sister came through this drive through to get food. We ordered chicken tenders without knowing that it’s cook to order the guy at the window asked me to park in the handicap. I only asked why because why would you ask me to illegally park in handicap? At the time I wasn’t knowing the chicken tenders had to be cooked fresh I would’ve just parked in a regular park. He literally responded I don’t have time for this SHT and walked away. The manager came and asked who asked for him we replied no one and he got very hostile and I asked sir what is the problem? We were not rude or anything just a bit confused he went on to say “if my employee tells you to park in handicap then you do just that, these chicken tenders takes 7/8 mins to cook and your not about to hold up my line while you wait, so go park in the handicap and get away from my window”. I asked him to be kind and tried explaining it’s illegal to have someone not handicap to park in handicap and explain that all they had to do was tell us the chicken was being cooked to order and go park in a regular parking spot. They handed us out food finally without the dipping sauce slammed the window and locked the front door and told every employee to not assist us when all we wanted was the ranch we paid for. I have contacted the TPD and file a complaint about them forcing people to illegally park in the handicap parking spot. I just wanted to share my HORRIBLE experience hopefully you guys find better help.
