My husband and I had lunch here on Saturday it cost us almost $34.00 for lunch not worth it. There was molts in the building and the staff reached across our plates to try and catch the moths.

Finally found the place that has West Coast Chinese food. Most places in Tallahassee are bearly edible, the Mongolian beef was really good and not tenderized with baking soda. White rice was moist and sticky like it's supposed to be and the egg rolls where crispy not soggy. We ordered from the kitchen instead of the buffet. We will be back often.

Went lunch with family. 1st red flag, none was very warm and seemed to have been out for a while. 2nd red flag, our kid didn't finish their plate; barely touched it. When asked what was wrong, they said the food is making them feel not good. I should not have ignored this. We soon paid and left. We were all sick, especially myself and my spouse, since we finished the plates we got. I had been going there, off and on, for years. The first proprietor I knew now runs a buffet on Thomasville Rd (which is good). As it changed hands ( this seems to be the 3rd change in management, the quality seemed to dip. But after this meal, I now have been ill for hours and will never return.

It wasn't busy when we were there so I think the food had been out awhile, everything was cold. Not very good. Service was very friendly though.

Got yelled at by a Chinese guy. Felt the food boiling in my stomach while I was eating it. Learned new Chinese curse words. Everyone inside looked so depressed. The Chinese radio station was bumping. 5/5 experience.

Restaurantji Recommends
Bad experience, you sweat, you don't even know what you're drinking, it's water or soda. What a sign, there are good foods, there's a bad experience inside, I don't recommend it.

This is the best Chinese food in the whole world. China First has been my family’s favorite Chinese restaurants for over 20 years. The owners are very kind friendly people that take pride in their business and make their customers feel valued. I’m so grateful this restaurant is still around years later and I hope it’s always open; a true local staple. My favorite is the egg drop soup, honey chicken, and rice noodles. Thank you China First!

We got the sweet and sour chicken and the sesame chicken. It was not good. We also ordered egg rolls, but they didn’t give us any.
