Just had an amazing experience at Coosh’s Bayou Rouge! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming and full of Southern charm. Our waitress Gabby went above and beyond—her energy, kindness, and attention to detail made us feel right at home. My daughter Aniyah absolutely loved her (lol), and we both agreed the food was incredible! Every bite was flavorful and fresh—true Louisiana flavor right here!
We’re giving this spot a solid 10/10 — great service, great food, and a truly great time. Thank you, Gabby, and thank you Coosh’s for making our visit one to remember! We’ll definitely be back!

That's the only place in town that the food reminds me of home.I was born in Louisiana and moved to Georgia in the 90s. It's very much worth the drive from Thomasville to Tallahassee.The food is great and the service is excellent. Geaux Tigers

The place looks great from the outside! I went based on a recommendation of good food, great service and reasonable prices. The downfall was paying for parking during lunch??? No way period. I left despite my hunger! And the parking on the narrow street with high traffic was chaotic!

This review is a long time coming. Back in mid-May I needed to place a to-go order (a rather large one) that I was delivering to a family in need. Tally had just gotten hit by a big storm, and many of Coosh's staff were unfortunately not able to work due to the storm. On top of that, the weather on this particular day was also pretty crazy and people were losing power. Coosh's had decided to close their doors early ahead of the storm. However, they stayed open to make the last minute order I had called in. Logan, (the manager and owner's son) was quick to open the door for JUST me so that I could deliver this meal. He was so kind and helpful. He even carried the food out to my car in the rain! What Logan didn't know, was that my father had passed away the night before. His kindness and effort to provide my request will forever be appreciated. ON TOP of that, in learning of my father's passing, Logan then gave me a Coosh's gift card for my family to come back to enjoy our own meal. I have always loved this restaurant, but Coosh's has now guaranteed a customer for life. Don't hesitate to visit this outstanding establishment. Amazing Cajun food and variety, excellent customer service, and a top-notch owner/manager!

Wonderful place to grab dinner. Not too busy during weeknights so that's a plus. They have incredible food at a decent price, and their bar is great too. (Ask for tap beer, they fill it to the brim!)

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Coosh’s, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish! The food was absolutely delicious, with a great variety of dishes that were perfectly prepared. What truly set our visit apart, though, was the outstanding service. Our server, Jax, was attentive, friendly, and made excellent recommendations that enhanced our meal. Additionally, Manager Joey went out of his way to ensure that everything was perfect, stopping by our table to check on us and make sure we were having a great time. Their dedication to customer satisfaction truly made our evening memorable. I can’t recommend Coosh’s highly enough and will definitely be returning soon!
