Catfish was awful, they should rename the hush puppies as grease puppies. My wife's tilapia was wonderful.

It's one of the best seafood Restaurants in Florida. Everything was excellent. I got the Plenty got on and I couldn't finish it. Service was excellent.

I’m on a Travel Team with a major company that travels five days a week throughout Georgia, Florida, South Carolina and Alabama. In a years time, we eat at several hundred restaurants along our journeys.
We ALL agreed that Crystal River was a solid ten!
We were promptly greeted by a very sweet girl with a bubbly personality.
Our server was at our table immediately after being seated to get our drink order.
She was informative about the menu and offered suggestions when asked.
Our drinks were never empty.
Out steaks were cooked and seasoned to perfection.
The shrimp were plentiful and cooked exactly to our liking.
The grits and sweet tea were spot on!
The price was adequate and the portions were plentiful.
One of the BEST restaurants we’ve encountered.

We absolutely love coming here! Always worth the price, the staff is beyond amazing, atmosphere is also very relaxing! Special shout out to Mrs. Hannah, we’ve had the pleasure of having her as our server the last 2 visits and she is beyond amazing; on top of everything, very sweet, and super quick. Thank you Crystal River! We will always come back!

Staff was very friendly.
Food was hot and fresh. I ordered the whole fried catfish, it was hot with a light crispy batter. Just didn't have enough seasonings for my tastebuds.
Cheese grits were awesome
And the sweet potato fries were also hot and good.
