I’m on a Travel Team with a major company that travels five days a week throughout Georgia, Florida, South Carolina and Alabama. In a years time, we eat at several hundred restaurants along our journeys.
We ALL agreed that Crystal River was a solid ten!
We were promptly greeted by a very sweet girl with a bubbly personality.
Our server was at our table immediately after being seated to get our drink order.
She was informative about the menu and offered suggestions when asked.
Our drinks were never empty.
Out steaks were cooked and seasoned to perfection.
The shrimp were plentiful and cooked exactly to our liking.
The grits and sweet tea were spot on!
The price was adequate and the portions were plentiful.
One of the BEST restaurants we’ve encountered.

We absolutely love coming here! Always worth the price, the staff is beyond amazing, atmosphere is also very relaxing! Special shout out to Mrs. Hannah, we’ve had the pleasure of having her as our server the last 2 visits and she is beyond amazing; on top of everything, very sweet, and super quick. Thank you Crystal River! We will always come back!

Staff was very friendly.
Food was hot and fresh. I ordered the whole fried catfish, it was hot with a light crispy batter. Just didn't have enough seasonings for my tastebuds.
Cheese grits were awesome
And the sweet potato fries were also hot and good.

Got to the bottom of my baked beans and found hair. 1 out of 2 of my Salmon fillets taste and smells spoiled. I stopped eating it as I can not finish it. Used to be a favorite now rarely attend because the food gets worse every time and manager has horrible problem solving skills

well. the service and remoulade were great. my family seemed to enjoy their meals, but my husband will eat just about anything and it turns out my kid just didn't want to seem ungrateful. ?

everything tasted the same: bland. got the stuffed flounder with cheese grits and "fried corn on the cob". the flounder and supposed crab stuffing were bland and mushy. not even lemon and salt helped. i peeled the layer of melted cheese off and ate it by itself because it was melted cheese and of course i'm going to eat it. the cheese grits were ok after i doctored them up a little but i mainly ate them to get the taste of the flounder out of my mouth. and if that corn was fried, i'm the queen of england.

all in all, i am really mad that meal actually cost money. the only reason i didn't say anything at the time was because i knew my kid would take it badly since she picked the place. had i learned during dinner that she really wasn't all that crazy about it, either, we wouldn't have stayed.

When you order water crab legs great price and you get a lot of quality the only problem is they don't use no seasoning if they use seasoning like Old Bay they taste a lot better and also for the customer there's no bibs to put on when you're eating the crab legs so you're making a mess all over your clothes otherwise prices are great restaurants kept up clean in the service was great so we definitely recommend it I just wish they use Oldbay for those crab legs when they cook them they would sell doubled in what they're selling out they did
