Ox tails over cooked and salty, grits for the ox tails not done. Eggs not cooked completely. First time bad experience with the food. Service was good food wasn’t

The service was slow and inconsistent. Many items on the menu were out of stock including no lemons for water. Only one person knew how to operate the coffee machine and was not available. Cute place but never going back. Tried it twice and it was not a welcoming experience.

My husband and I went to Early's for dinner and it was fabulous! We are going to come back for breakfast. Another jewel for the Southside!

Worst oxtails I’ve ever had for $32. Absolutely too salty. Very disappointed for the price.

Food was great, portions are large. I will definitely be coming back to try the rest of the menu. It’s definitely a nice experience at nighttime. I look forward to trying it for lunch as well.

The new renovations are exceptional with a laid back posh soul vibe. Full bar and friendly staff. Food presentation is on par with the atmosphere. Great coffee too!

Brunch at Earley's Kitchen today. I'll speak for myself when I say, my food was good. I did tell them I could have used a little more gouda in my grits but I enjoyed my meal. Everyone's prefeence in how they like their food prepared, is different. But when one person asks for Cognac and OJ, the bartender knew exactly what to do! We also had bottomless mimosas. The staff was pleasant, engaging and helpful throughout the experience. One of the cooks even came out to ask about the food.

They have a vegan breakfast sandwich as well. Kids option (pancake and meat) was perfect for mine.

This was the second time for brunch so our server had a few questions but she was able to get the answers and resolution quickly.

I wish I had pictures, but I ate it up too fast! I came in for oxtails, however they were waiting on the next batch (the first batch was already gone by 11:45 am! So you know theyre good!) and I had to be quick.
I tried the Smoked Mojo Chicken thighs and OMGGGGG. It was DIVINE. The chicken was juicy and cooked perfectly. The mojo sauce it was covered in was amazing!
I had sweet potatoes and fried green tomatoes as my side. The sweet potatoes had a fantastic sweet cinnamon syrup they were baked in. And the fried green tomatoes were just like my mama made them.
This was my first time in Early's Kitchen and certainly will not be my last! Cant wait to try to liver and onions and the oxtails!!!

Hit or miss on food. Sides are pretty good, but recently the catfish was cold. Otherwise nice staff and clean. No real attempt at atmosphere inside.
