I don’t hand out five star ratings lightly- I have been to Echalee several times but this last time was so good I had to post a review. We went before seeing the new Avatar at AMC this place is right next door to the mall and ITS VERY convenient. Chips and salsa were on point, as were the chicken street tacos and the stuffed poblano was one of the best I’ve ever had. This is my go-to dish by which all places are judged and it was excellent, stuffed with mushrooms, cheese and onions, topped with cheese and the perfect red sauce, I loved it and will definitely keep coming back. Oh yeah and they were fast too and we made the movie with plenty of time to spare!

This is the BEST Mexican restaurant in Tallahassee. I ordered the chicken fajita and it was perfectly cooked! Not at all dry, tender chicken and well seasoned. My wife ordered the steak fajita quesadilla and the steak was PERFECT! Not dry at all and so tender. My son ordered the chicken enchilada with rice and beans and it was perfectly cooked! Not at all dry and perfectly seasoned. Our waiter was a kind young man who was very attentive to our needs. 100% best Mexican restaurant in Tallahassee!

On top of everything we got an awesome deal of 2-1 Margaritas and they were exquisite. I am a huge fan of margaritas and not were they generous in size but made to perfection. 🎊🍹😍🍹🎊 We got the strawberry margaritas & they were soooo good!!

I really enjoy their food. I’d highly recommend it. (I mostly get takeout ordering over phone and sometime they are busy or something and do not pick up the call, which is slightly annoying. I hate ordering on apps :( )

Our second time visit this week. We now will consider it one of our favorites! Taco shells made in-house and cooked when ordered. Nachos were plentiful and very, very good. Two for One Margaritas had a good amount of tequila. Menu is extensive. Enchiladas were excellent. Service was very, very good. The only reason I did not rate them a 5 was than one of us asked for no red sauce on the enchiladas, only green salsa, and they added more queso, which was not necessary. Having said that, we loved this place and will be regular customers!

Great family owned dog freidnedly restaurant with great food and fishbowl margaritas. I got the el pastor pork and I Loved it! Great salsa and very good margaritas! Family got carnitias tacos (5/5), quesobirria tacos(4/5), and the steak & chicken fajita (4/5). YUM
