I dined here this evening...because a friend of mine recommended it and I ordered the Taco Dinner to go with a side order of Pico de Gallo. There was about 1.5 ounces of rice and beans in a TV Dinner sized tray and the tacos were very flat. The hot sauce was sour and did not taste fresh. The Pico de Gallo came in the smallest clear plastic tub I have ever seen. It was bland and flavorless and it had few if any Jalapeños. Pico de Nada. I paid over $15....including tip for the meal and do not feel that it was a good value at all. The food was stale and flavorless and the portion size was way too small for the money I paid.

Well im currently on the toilet and i think i have food poisoning....... ?.....i love el jalisco never had a problem with thier food until today...i got the enchilada filled with ground beef beans and rice salsa and chips idk ive never gotten sick eating thier food but TODAY...maaaaaaan when i tell you my stomach is coming out of my A$@ right now ....i hope yall not serving us dog and cat meat.....? This never happened before when i ate there!! Be careful yall stay woke!!

Normally, food is good. Steak was black burnt crispy. They did make another but were unable to eat with guest as they were already done.

It's a 3 star meal. Very basic atmosphere. Staff is great, busy and really into helping their customers. Mole Enchiladas usually with brown mole but this time red. Still decent though. My friends street tacos al pastor were just ok even after adding every condiment in sight. I usually pay $10.99 for the tacos but when I checked the receipt it was $16!! Something doesn't smell right....ended up being the tortillas. Overall, good staff trying hard to satisfy customers. They mean well but don't always hit the mark.

I used to work at this El Jalisco's that we went to on North Monroe our dessert wasn't with our order My extra rice and beans wasn't with the water The quesadilla is that we got was made wrong they were the fajita quesadillas and all we wanted was steak quesadillas My wife's street tacos was supposed to be carnitas instead of getting just the carnitas meat she got one taco that was straight fat on the taco instead of any meat I mean the service was good but

Great food as always despite being very busy. 2 for 1 margaritas are strong and worth it. The staff even helped my husband and I jump my car after he left the lights on and killed the battery ? even were incredibly helpful when we went back in for tequila shots after that big bill for buying a new battery (best place to have car problems- auto zone is right next door) 100% recommend this place for laid back vibes, friendly staff, strong drinks and football ⚽️ games at the bar.

I wasn't real happy with my huevos ranchers. Eggs overcooked and refried beans were. Lumpy. My wife was happy with their Jalisco Bowl. Waitress disappeared. We didn't get our second drink until we'll after we finished eating. Salsa was very good. We ate on the patio and we're tortured by gnats.
