The food was truly delicious! We expected it to be good but ordinary, but every single part of the meal, from the marinated crimini mushrooms to the grilled fire roasted tomatoes was outstanding. The space was somewhat noisy but roomy and comfortable.

The restaurant was clean. The staff was amazing. I worked in customer service for many years so I tend to have high expectations. The staff here exceeded expectations. The food is unique and very good.

I’m gluten and dairy free and this is one of the best places to get breakfast in Tallahassee right now. I highly recommend it. Dined in with a friend today and the atmosphere was great, not too loud and definitely spacious.
Also our server, Trenton, had the best customer service, he was super friendly and attentive and made sure to not only take note of my food allergies but also to follow up with me about them after having put the order in and once the food was out. Great experience and definitely will be back.

They mostly kill it, just the thing you need after a court date as your life hangs in the balance, much like the balance of a good chimichuri sauce with steak and eggs. Mmm mmmm good.

2/1/2026 I was really disappointed with my experience at First Watch. I ordered cheese grits and unfortunately found a piece of hair in my food. This is a serious hygiene issue and completely unacceptable. Cleanliness should be a top priority, and this ruined my appetite and experience. I expected much better.
