Very nice place, pricy but upscale. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The food was very good and the Mixed drinks were great.

Most of the food was good. One dish was way over salted. Explained to the server and then the service became super slow. It was like time stopped. We know it is not their fault but continue to serve with a smile and with your same level of energy. While the dish went back and we got a replacement it left us with a different vibe for the remainder of our dinner.

Horrible experience. We were told to sit anywhere outside. Waited a half hour to get waters, despite letting at least 3 different people know we were waiting for service, watching servers argue about who was cut and having another server come up and blame everyone else for our wait. Another 30 minutes and we were still waiting for drinks. Went inside and there were 2 people just rolling silverware. Awful.

My friend and I eat at FGF or Sage regularly. Last month we at at FGF and it was excellent so we went back again this month-4/25/25. It was like a different restaurant! Slow, order was inedible-scorched grouper sandwich; fries were limp, cold and greasy and the salad we ordered did not come until the end. Please return back to the restaurant we recommend to everyone!

Very unpleasant outdoor dining! High top tables were in wretched condition. The chairs were in the same condition, torn pleather seats. The patio had not been swept in days showing evidence of previous diners. Would not recommend. My food was without much flavor, gnocchi sauce was acceptable. Escargot was totally uninteresting. My dinner partner's tuna steak with garlic spinach was “very good”. Our server was earnest and sweet but had difficulty describing the food when asked. Perhaps inside dining's atmosphere is better...

The food was really good, especially the potato leek soup with lump crab meat. It was outstanding. One issue we had though was the extra cost to add protein to salads. One person in my party added shrimp to her salad and was charged for a shrimp meal on top of the price of the salad, but yet she didn't receive the sides that come with the meal. I mean if they're going to charge for it, you should get it, right? Another guest added salmon to her salad and had the same issue. She was charged for a salmon entree on top of the price of the salad but yet didn't receive the sides that came with the entree. Her salad ended up costing her around $50. That's absurd! Another issue was the server. She was absolutely horrible! It took over an hour to get our meals after we ordered, and she didn't keep up with the status of our order. We had to flag her down several times. We also had to speak to a different server and ask for the manager because it was taking so long to get our food. When we were finally served, two of us didn't receive our entrees, only the soup. We had to flag down our server yet again, twice, to get the remaining entrees. She also failed to inform us of the upcharge for shrimp and salmon so you can imagine the shock when we received our checks. After all was said and done, we were there 2.5 hours because of the terrible service. I would recommend FGF for their food but the service was seriously lacking!

I was only going for dessert! This is the third time that I have been to Food Glorious Food, but only the first time I have dined in. As a matter of fact, I only new of the bar and dessert area. So this was an amazing treat! The atmosphere was very inviting. After getting over the shock of being in the actual restaurant, I began to look at the menu. All of the offerings sounds amazing. I had only planned for dessert, so opted for a couple the small plate options and wedge BLT salad. After reading the menu over and over again. I decided on the fried quail and the smoke tuna dip. UH OH! I have failed to mention, Haley! Haley was my wonderful, helpful, knowledgeable, and attentive server. She helped guide me to the selections. She was amazing and very personable. She made the dining experience that much more. The wedge salad was more than enough for two people. Everything was fresh. The bacon was so amazingly good that I almost made my vegan server rethink her life choices, because I made the bacon sound so good. The Bacon did not need my help. I was told by Virginia another server that was friendly and helpful, that she adds the bacon to most everything that she eats there. Next up! The quail was delicious! The breading was flavorful without being over powering. It was succulent, tender and surprisingly filling. It was served over a spinach and mushroom reduction. It was an experience. However, the star of the evening...THE FULL EXPERIENCE, the smoked tuna! Served over Lavosh crackers, it was simple a masterpiece of perfection. I couldn't imagine anything being better. I was told that the sell out everytime they have it. I see why! OH MY GOODNESS! After such a wonderful treat and great service I asked to speak to a manager. The general manager, Jamie came to the table expecting to have to deal with a problem, but walked into a praise instead. I expressed that I only brought appetite of dessert, but was happy I found room for more. He was personable and happy to hear that my experience was great! Finally, the dessert! This is what I have known the place for. My last trip I bought 5 different desserts. My waistline can prove it. Today it was the red velvet cake and the Cinnamon roll bread pudding with a coffee drizzle. Confectionary delights!!!!! I am looking forward to my next trip already!

Complete waste of time. I stood in front of the desert counter for nearly an hour trying to buy a slice of Perfect Chocolate Cake. When I walked in, there was nearly an entire cake. While I was standing there being ignored, more and more servers from the restaurant downstairs kept taking pieces of the cake for the people in the restaurant. Finally a server came and took the last peice. When I asked if that was the last of the cake, everyone said "yeah, that was the last piece," and just looked at me like I'm an idiot. There should be a sign upstairs that says your business doesn't matter unless you're eating in the restaurant.

Got there and were sat immediately. We were greeted within a couple of minutes by our server. She was friendly and answered all our questions. She came back frequently to check on us but wasn't overbearing or pushy. Food came out fairly quick. Everything was hot and tasted great. Highly recommend the Shrimp & Grits. They were great. Desserts are amazing and all fresh made in house. For the portions and quality we got the value was well worth it.

Absolutely amazing food! We had dinner here last night, seafood pasta, scallops and Brussels, plus delicious multi layer cake and a brownie. Not one morsel remained. I truly cannot give high enough praise! We are here again the next day for one last meal before we leave!

What an incredible experience at FGF in Tallahassee. The fried green tomatoes were spectacular and the Pan Fried Grouper was so delicious! Cheese grits, with collard green, and perfectly cooked pan fried grouper with shoestring potatoes and remoulade sauce! Perfection! Do yourself a solid and go check out this wonderful gem! And don’t pass on dessert here! They have a bakery with countless desserts to choose from-the baklava cheesecake is divine and the key lime pound cake is absolutely amazing! Thank you to the wonderful staff at FGF for a fantastic evening! We will definitely be coming back!
