Freshroots Kitchen

I’ve been coming to this restaurant for years and I understand that they are busy but why when you pick up an order that is already PAID for with a tip do you have to stand for 10 to 15 minutes without anyone acknowledging you…. When I can clearly see my food on the shelf behind the counter. I have stopped coming to this restaurant because of this and I’ve noticed it is an ongoing occurrence. The staff does not greet anyone and I just get an overall bad vibe which is terrible because I really like this restaurant. I mean why not acknowledge or thank your customers . The majority of the people coming here are working around in the businesses and healthcare, and we already have a hard enough job. I don’t want to go somewhere for lunch and be disrespected and felt like you could have saved your money. The food is great and I want them to do better than this

The hours on the door and online day they open at 7. I am here at 7:05 and it is dark.

Are the sandwiches good? Yes. Is it a nice cafe with OK staff? Yes. Will you wait at least 15 minutes for a sandwich whether it is busy or you are literally the only person in the place? ABSOLUTELY. You might wait more than 15 minutes, so only go if you have plenty of time on your hands. You will eventually.... get your sandwich.

Freshroots is one of my favorite hidden lunch spots in town. The food is so fresh, you just feel good after eating here. The Hooper is one of my top choices.
