Gilliam Sisters Soul Food

Came to visit someone and was recommended to try out the food here. It look so good too. It says you guys are open right now but the doors are locked and nobody is answering. There isn’t a closed sign. :(((( i wanted to try it too but now i can’t.

Heard great things about this place and they lived up to the hype!!! Greens and cornbread was flavorful. Yams were next level and the pork chops were cooked to order, hot and fresh out the grease. Will definitely be back.

First time in Tallahassee and searched for a decent soul food restaurant. Found Gilliam Sisters and the service, food, and atmosphere was exceptional! I didn’t want to leave - literally spent the entire Sunday afternoon talking with the owner (female ????), staff (young and pleasant) and enjoying the delicious cooked to order oxtails, wings, collard greens!! Excellent experience and highly recommended!

Today was my first time entering the establishment. The customer service with everything. She was patient, polite and knowledgeable. The food was well seasoned, hot and delicious. I really enjoyed my time there as well as the food. I’m ready to see them franchise all over.

Genuinely the most inconsistent and unprofessional restaurant I have ever had the displeasure of patronizing. I've been going to this place since they opened and tried to give them too many chances. Time after time, they will close their restaurant with no acknowledgement! I've shown up when it says they're open and they tell me they actually won't be open until an hour later. These people do not know how to properly run a restaurant. Y'all are cooking SOUL FOOD this takes preparation!! This why y'all be opening 1-2 hours later than y'all supposed to cause y'all start prepping too late! This restaurant will not last, I know it won't. There's no enough standards and procedures in place. Opening late, randomly closing for the whole day without updating their site, closing abruptly. Unprofessional and unprepared for the restaurant business. Don't even waste your time coming to this place.

From the family friendly environment, to the welcoming aroma as you walk up to the door. Everything was of quality & they did not skimp on the quantity. You get sooooo much food for your bucks. If you are looking for some down home country cooking, this is the spot. Oxtails full of meat and tender and the gravy on the smothered pork chops amazing! Please visit if you are ever in Tallahasee. You will not be disappointed ??

The food was delectable . The customer service was excellent, everyone was very friendly and family oriented. The oxtail was tender, juicy, and the meat was falling off the bone . The collard greens were just like my mom’s. The yams were homemade and delicious . I will definitely be back. Come check them out. You will not be disappointed .

My first time eating here. The customer service was great. The restaurant was nice and clean with in and out door seating. The food is delicious. I had the meat loaf dinner with potato salad and yams.

This is my 3rd time visiting this establishment. The wait times for food should mean the food taste amazing. I try to support local businesses but waiting an 1 and 45 minutes for over priced food is ridiculous. Just a recommendation to the owners....Wait time is also apart of customer service.

The food is good but not worth the hassle. I tried ordering from this establishment several times and ever time is an issue. This business never keep set business hours. They are either 1. closing early in the middle of the day, 2. Not open on days they have listed has open business hours. This is very sad. I won't be ordering from them again.

Food was amazing! We were just looking for a quick bite before a FSU game I'm glad we found this place ....the staff was also great Highly recommend
