My husband and I enjoyed our lunch. I had the Gordo burger. It was delicious. 10oz. burger was huge. I brought half home. It was just as good reheated the next day. Loved the roll. My husband had the empanadas. Enjoyed by both of us.

Shoutout to the female manager at Gordo’s today during lunch! She was so sweet, friendly, and professional the entire time. You can really tell she cares about her customers and the restaurant. She made the experience even better with her positive attitude and great service. Definitely appreciated her kindness. I will absolutely be back!

Horario dice 11-11 y he ido 3 veces y dicen que han cerrado. Hoy antes de las 8 cerrado!?
According to this page… they are open 11-11pm, but I've gone three times and they say they're closed. Closed before 8 today?! Whattttt
First time here and had the Pan Con Lechon and Pan Con Bistec sandwich’s. Started with the croquette’s and Cuban sliders as an appetizer. Portions are big which goes a long way in a college town. Food was good. Probably a little spoiled since we get Cuban in Miami often.

Decided to try this location for some Cuban food while in Tallahassee. Good amount of options on the menu and being from central Florida I was looking for quality Cuban food that would compare.
We had their stuffed potatoes for app, which were pretty good. Followed that with the breaded steak dish, black beans, white rice, tostones and sweet plantains. Also had their boiled yuca. The black beans were just ok along with the yuca, it did not have the normal garlic approach. The steak was good, along with the plantains. The tostones were over cooked. The plates are massive so you can really share. Finished it off with their flan which was one of the best items, dense and rich. Btw a small piece of bread comes with the dish, but they charge for bread if you want more, most Cuban places in central Florida offer it free. Also, their water taste terrible, I always order the free water at restaurants, this one was really bad.
Service was very good, atmosphere was average. I would maybe visit again to try something different but not before looking for a different Cuban spot in Tallahassee first.

Absolute trash service and food! Such a bummer because it used to be good but it’s gone wildly downhill. 0/10 do not recommend. Run!

This place was my favorite in Tally for almost a decade…now it’s an absolute joke.
Food made wrong, some food never even arrived after following up 3x, server nowhere to be found. Took 3 hours to finally get out.
ALUMNI, avoid this place it’s not what it was. It’s so sad!

We stopped here while visiting Tallahassee and fell in love with the restaurant. Three different staff members specifically engaged with our youngest son (10yo) and it meant a lot bc as the baby he isn’t used to people noticing him all the time. The food was delicious. Clean and welcoming to everyone.

I have been coming here for 25+years. It's still same old classic it was when I went to school here. Classic FSU establishment.
