The food was great! It was fresh and hot when it arrived. I was a little disappointed with our server. She seemed too busy to give us much attention. She would bring something and immediately turn around and walk away. I tried to ask for a soda and had to wait for her to come back. I like to interact with my servers, but we were unable to with her.
This place never disappoints. The maduros, fried yucca, and papa rellena are my favorites. Service is always good and friendly. I wish they had a franchise in my town.Dietary restrictions: I can’t eat dairy or gluten.

The food was great here and they serve generous portions so you will have plenty to bring home. The restaurant was busy. Our waitress wasn't attentive to us at all, but the food made up for that. Update; food is still great, portion sizes have shrunk since we've been here last. Nice waitress today. Did everything perfect.

WHAT HAPPENDED TO THIS RESTAURANT!!!! It seems like the past couple of years this restaurant has gone down hill. Me being from Miami I miss my Cuban food. We took the ride to Tallahassee from Thomasville a good 45 minutes to go eat at Gordo's on Saturday afternoon (it used to be our favorite Cuban restaurant) I ordered the Pollo a la Plancha like I always do. It was horrible!!! It was chewy, rubbery not sure if they cooked it in the microwave or what. We also ordered two take out dinners of Picadillo for later that night or the following night. Because really who can mess up Picadillo right. They can!!! It was awful I wound up throwing it away, What a disappointment for a restaurant that I loved so much. We will not be going back anytime soon. Five stars to the waitress Hayden89 for waiting on us. She and only she was the best part of this experience.
