I have been to Grove Market several times and their food is usually quite good. I had my mother pick up two Tarpon Springs Greek salads today because I had been raving to her about the food. Imagine my dismay when she comes back to the house $35 later with what amounted to a side salad worth of food with salmon on top. The salad was great but for $15 each, this was just very frustrating to say the least. ?

First time stop here! Was greeted by a very sweet woman, JP, she made our experience extra special just by her positive energy!I ordered the Grapefruit Brulee, wasn't impressed by it, I think I was imagining something else when I ordered it.The sandwich, however was incredible! The bread was perfectly toasted and buttered, the sausage was juicy and flavorful, all in all --- Amazing flavor!Thank you again for this first experience! We will be back!

A very nice breakfast cafe that has a little something for everyone with plenty of gluten free options. It can be very busy, but they do a good job of being efficient.I had the almond flour pancakes, and they were excellent. The vanilla-lemon cream cheese topping is excellent.Parking: Shares a lot with Island Wing and is really large.Dietary restrictions: Lots of gluten free options for just about every item on the menu.

This place needs a management change, and fast. The staff has no idea how to manage tables and the bottlenecks are numerous and extremely noticeable. I’ve witnessed the staff sit around talking to their friends at tables in the middle of Sunday Brunch rush and ignore customers. Our waitress spent more time chatting with her friends than doing the bare minimum, such as putting in our order or getting us our drinks. Additionally, the bar sat empty for over an hour, and we were told “oh we have people coming” when that was clearly a lie.The management needs to address how unprofessional and chaotic the staff is, and soon.My wife and I waited over an hour and a half for what effectively was bacon and eggs and we saw multiple people who were sat after us get their meals first. The neglect from the wait staff was so far beyond what is acceptable or understandable during a rush.50 dollars and well over an hour and a half of sitting around with some of the worst service I've ever had for a mediocre meal is not what I expected. We did not even receive an itemized bill when we paid. With so many other restaurants closed for brunch in town, the options are limited for Sundays but at this point it looks like I'll just stick to Waffle House.I have never felt compelled to write a review for any restaurant before, I can tell you my experience with Grove Market Cafe was the first time I've ever been this upset with dining in Tallahassee.

Generous portions and delicious combinations, with friendly service and very good coffee. Shelby seated us and took care of us. Wife had Avocado Smash with arugula and an egg, while I had Rancher’s Eggs, with black beans, chorizo, charred tomato salsa, avocado, with fried eggs on a crispy tortilla. I believe there is as Ranchero sauce as well. Great mix of flavors. Black coffee was fresh and not bitter. Wife’s cappuccino was fine. We will go back!

This is a cute little spot. All the food we got was delicious, five star worthy, honestly. However, the food took THIRTY FIVE minutes to get after ordering and there was only two or three other tables seated there when we ordered. No apology, no timing updates, nothing. Had to find the server to pay as well as that took too much time too. It’s a bummer, because the food was great but bc of the lack of customer service we won’t be back.

Went to the Grove Market Cafe and was really unimpressed. The breakfast burrito was $11 and so small we had to order more (see pictures). The coffee was not very good either. We had high hopes, was disappointed.

I’ve been twice but the first time was right after it first opened. Haven’t been back mainly due to vivid and not eating in restaurants. Today lunched with friends and it was delicious. The Tallahassee chicken Salad was delicious, just wish I would have had just a little more of the chicken salad on it. Everyone enjoyed their choice. My mom loved the shrimp grits and collards. I won’t wait as long to go back.

Best brunch place I've been to since I've arrived in Tallahassee. I got a bowl and the biscuits and gravy and it was just phenomenal. My bowl had sweet potato, pork, peppers, onions, and scrambled egg and I can not recommend it enough (I can't remember the name). The wait service was incredibly fast and courteous I will be back again!

Our waitress was attentive and kind. The chicken pot pie was described as soup-like, and properly met its description. Not to mention, delicious. The buffalo chicken sandwich was very saucy and had a nice fried crunch. My waitress gave me a to-go drink as a courtesy, without my asking. It’s like she knew me. I would definitely come back.

Great food and service! A nice change from the chain restaurants. I ordered the veggie omelette plus ham minus carrots haha. Carrots and breakfast don't mesh
