This was my first time at a Hooter's ever; the only reason we came here was because my husband looked back fondly on how good their buffalo chicken sandwiches were the last time he visited a Hooter's in Gainesville (16 years ago). I was curious to try their food and see what the hype was about so we found ourselves here on a Friday evening. I don't want to be a Debbie downer but our experience was subpar and disappointing. I'm writing this review to help others avoid this establishment so they don't waste their money on over priced bar food. It's really sad but I just feel like I have to be candid as we will never be returning. First off our waitress was a total space cadet. We had to insist on ordering food when she was about to walk away after giving us our drinks (which she didn't give us straws with so I had to go up to the bar and grab some). The drinks were quite lackluster and tasted dilute. The ladies' bathroom was a mess, two out of the three stalls had bowls full of urine and toilet paper everywhere. The only "clean" toilet had mold growing inside the bowl. The whole place had a dingy vibe. The food left a lot to be desired. My husband immediately detected the food was not as he remembered. We ate what we could. The waitress offered us dessert which we declined, then proceeded to walk away. It was another few minutes before she came back to offer a check. Mind you, this place was pretty empty for a Friday night... We paid over $80 (including tip) for some crappy bar food. The entire experience was really dissatisfying.

Service was fair at best. I asked for breaded traditional wings medium sauce. This is what I got, not breaded smothered in sauce. I asked if those were breaded to Gina the server and she said yeah and showed me the ticket sarcastically. I've been to Hooters quite a few times and those wings are not breaded.

Called in simple order. Wings, fries and celery. Got home and EVERY SINGLE ITEM was wrong. How can they mess this up so badly?

I was craving some Hooters wing, breaded and hot. I was extremely disappointed. Breading was not uniform to our he franchises and the taste was different. Service was pleasant.

Just came home from a day watching the World Cup (Fra 2 Eng 1) and wanted to make sure I posted about a great experience at Hooters. Fried pickles were good, Chips and queso, good also. The food was better than I've had in the past at Hooters, but the reason I wanted to write a review was for the outstanding service and experience we had with our server, Karla. Karla was very attentive to our large group! She was constantly checking on us, making sure we had what we wanted and needed. Karla is so sweet, with a caring personality, and always a pretty smile-she makes her difficult job look effortless!! The food was good, 4-stars, but the reason you go back is for someone like Karla - 5+stars!!!!

Never again. Cheese on salad( if you want to call it a salad)! No flavor on steamed shrimp, fries, or po boy. Burger has pink center. Spent over $61 on garbage. Enjoy that change because I won't give another penny to this business or anything/anyone associated with it!

Had the sliders. I always get two chicken and two burgers. Comes with fries. Don't forget to get a side of cheese dip to dip them in!!
Outstanding wings!!!!! I love the boneless mild with some curly fries. Also they have a great beer selection. Plus there is a great view the team members are always wonderful and super kind I highly recommend a visit .

Awful food, slow kitchen, rude servers - after seeing my food sitting under the warming lights I got up and got it myself. Apparently the waitresses were too deep in conversation to notice. Bad part? Place was almost empty. Waitress never once asked how I got my food or apologize for missing that it came up. What a mess. Tatyana was my waitress.

Well well well, if it isn't the place where old men go to feel things and young men go to "just watch the game." As I pulled into the parking lot I got those same jitters that you get on a graduation day or from listening to Danger Zone with beats headphones on. As I sat with my 3 friends and a pitcher of beer I pondered the menu, excited for the nutrients I was about to consume; but boy was I wrong. 15 traditional wings? Yeah let's try breaded with no chicken. 8 plain boneless? Toss em in Buffalo sauce. 3 tenders 5 regular wings? Ooh yummy gas station tenders and 4 popcorn chicken not sauced. Also our server had a weird name and left not only our empty pitcher, but the menus, and it seemed like every loose item in the restaurant on our table. The only positive I saw from the night was the collared shirt that at first glance looked like dots but turned out being mini chicken wings. Not to mention that they looked more appetizing than our meal but damn would that look good on a golf course. We passed up bogo marg night for a $50 meal that ultimately left me sweating on the toilet and cursing tight orange spandex. Congrats hooters, you have crushed this little boys dreams and made me despise the two things I've loved so dearly in this life, breasts and thighs. Will I go back? Maybe at another location. Will it take me a while? No doubt. How do I feel? I'm currently looking in the mirror wiping the colorful makeup off my face because I feel like a clown. To all that have had a good experience, I envy you and wish that could be me. Heartbroken. Truly heartbroken.
