I’ve been here a few times and I’ve always experienced good service. The staff is very knowledgeable concerning their wine selection, and they have a good variety of food items as well.

Ok I’m sorry… I went here tonight and I’m a wine person. I ordered wine and the glasses they brought out looked like 3oz. I was a bartender in my past and we gave 6 oz pours. What I got tonight was half that.

Also- I ordered a cheese board. It was $35 and the meat was sooooo gross and the cheese was only 1/2 way good. I only ate 1/4 of the board. Not to mention all of the wine isn’t on the menus so my check came out to $49. I thought “not bad”. Then the waitress comes back and says “oh I under charge you.” And it was $23 more!!!! I’m baffled. I had 2 tiny glasses of wine and a few bites of my board. Will not be back.

Food was great, the selection is awesome too… atmosphere is fun, bright and modern. Service, however, is abysmal… our waiter spilled my drink and took forever to clean it; I did before he did. We were checked on maybe once outside of the actual ordering and bringing of food/drinks. Didn’t receive an item we ordered either until probably 20+ mins later (a grilled cheese, which you think would be simple…). And the restaurant was about 1/4 full at this time. Very disappointed in the service – well, lack thereof. I would love to give Hummingbird another shot, sadly we are actually moving out of town, but maybe it’ll have tweaked itself by our next visit back.

This place is fantastic! Perfect wine selection and food to pair with it. Great knowledge of the staff! Perfect place to get a wine you didn’t know you needed. Ask the staff for a wine to pair with your next meal - I’ve always had PERFECTION.

One of my new favorite spots in town. Great for date night or drinks after brunch, this is a small comfortable place with an excellent selection and incredible staff. They have a special where they bring you a glass of white or red - sommelier's choice, and it's a lot of fun! Absolutely worth the time! PS the dessert is incredible.
